Ketel One Vodka
-Ketel refers to "Pot Still" distilling in which a batch is heated.
Ketel One started around 300 years ago by the Nolet's who still have a 50% stake in the newly merged company. For ten generations the Nolet's have
distilled spirits from grain.

The name "Ketel One" is as you said a distilling kettle (Dutch translation). The 'ketel' being numbered 1, hence Ketel One. The vodka was simple
named because they cooked their batches in Kettle Number 1 and used that as a name for it.
I don't really see why you have to go altering history or reading more into things than is needed. Unless you suggest there is some grand architect
that makes everything fit into an intertwined form and leaves clues behind. But then you may as well be off in the metaphysics forum...
