No a title company is useless not even the local tax collector has records of these taxes they go so far back as I checked with them. I have no liens against my home none at all. Under the law I have no obligation to pay these assholes. They are crooks and scam artists using legalized extortion and scam tactics to pressure me and others into paying something they don't owe. You should see the letters they send out and how they are worded they are designed to scare you into paying without asking questions.How is a title company going to prevent extortion and a shakedown?
