Mitt Romney used to dress up like a police officer and pull people over for fun

This is a bit of strange news apparently Mr Romney used to pretend to be a cop in college and pull over students ( I wish i was kidding)

Sometimes when I’m lying in bed at night counting sheep and thinking about the day I often wonder about: 1) ponies and 2) the fact that a bigger deal hasn’t been made about the fact Mitt Romney used to dress up like a police officer in college and pull people over. For fun.College is a time in many Americans’ lives when they do stupid # like smoke too much pot, drink a lot, or have a lot of sex. That’s considered pretty “de rigueur” in college; these are kinks you work out of your system. You then leave said institution to go through the modern world paying your taxes and doing the right thing.But the GOP presidential candidate had a different gig: instead of drinking and smoking like the rest of America (he claims to have had “one sip” of beer and one drag of a cigarette his entire life, a number we don’t dispute), he would remain perfectly sober and put on a police uniform and pull people over.

According to a former friend of Romney

He told us that he had gotten the uniform from his father,” George Romney, then the Governor of Michigan, whose security detail was staffed by uniformed troopers. “He told us that he was using it to pull over drivers on the road. He also had a red flashing light that he would attach to the top of his white Rambler. We thought it was all pretty weird. We all thought, ‘Wow, that’s pretty creepy.’ And after that, we didn’t have much interaction with him.”

And people want this guy running one of the most powerful nations on earth

All citizens are cops. You know 'citizen's arrest'. And no, I don't like Romney or Obama.

Ummm...isn't impersonating an officer of the law is against the law? Oh that's right I almost forgot...there is a whole entirely different and much more lenient set of rules for the so called elite.

Very bizarre, and highly illegal. All politics aside, if this is in fact true, it's kind of awful.

I don't want someone like that running our country... but who knows how valid this actually is.

If caught he could have been charged with a misdemeanor or felony in California dependent on the prosecutor. Though, someone with Romney's family wealth and connections would never see jail for such an offense. Laws are meant for the working drones.

Jesus you guys all act like you are saints, what is wrong with a guy that had some fun in his hay day? Im sure many people here have done much worse.

Barack Obahmer used to lay on the beach in Hawaii with some drop outs and do some blow and smoke some weed. That, and dream about a socialistic America, one that would punish white people for their sins against blacks, level the playing field a bit. He used to taunt little white girls, pushing one and insulting her, making her cry, all white totally sober and within his right mind. Then he made friends with some terrorist people and started out as a community organizer. Finally, here he is today, realizing his dream while doing blow and smoking weed with the dropout Hawaiian kids on the beach.

Wow that is so damaging. LOL

Actually I'm glad Romney has a past.

It's almost as bad as Obama wearing a shirt and tie

and trying to tell people he's Presidential material

Worse? Probably.... hell I've probably done things in my youth that could be considered worse. The problem is we are not talking about normal early 20's college shenanigans.

What he did was go above and beyond, what he did was highly abnormal. He wasn't getting stoned, and pulling pranks on his friends..... his actions were creepy at best. This is the behavior of rapists, serial killers, and sociopaths.... why is he even running for president?

Really? First off this is old news and has been drug through the media already. Welcome to 2012. Second, I would think that a kid doing something like this is much less of a character flaw than doing drugs and hanging out with communists. But to each his own I guess.
