thank you for doing the pics. I did the signature same as I did the avatar but it wont show. What am I doing wrong??

Two great entries on completely different levels!!! I loved the first one for it's quality and essence and the second for it's humor!

This is going to be a tough decision for folks to make!

ETA: at a personal level, I would choose the humorous one, but that's just me and this is based on everyone's choice! ....and the hypothetical person who requested it! ...shame he's not real to give feedback as we go!

I think that is what's so alluring about it. It is very abstract yet very striking at the same time. Kind of like a blow to the head with a paint brush....

Even the colours, although very bold are mixed with subtelty and go well together.

Nice to see you throwing some stuff out on this thread!

To muck around with the colours (UFO taking the girl up), I used Photoshop and used certain blending modes between the two layers (UFO and light on one layer, and girl on another).

The blend modes I used I think were 'exclusion', or 'division' can't recall, also changed the HUE on the UFO, the colour was originally darker blue, and when it blended with the layer below, it gave a fireworks like effect of impact...

I wish I could do more, I may just do a few other non related ones so as to not upset the flow of this comp
