We'll have to leave that to one of the other experts on this site. I don't have the skills or patience to cut out one of those pics and do what you're asking.

Can anyone help me to reduce the file size on this pic to within legal limits without messing it up too much?

I had to take out several frames and scale it down just a little bit more, but it's under the limit now

This should be the correct size and proportions for an ATS full background avatar.

That is awesome! Thanks to you and the Purple one both! I've saved ALL of them and am going to see if I can't learn a bit about GIMP by trying to tweak them a bit so that I might be able to have a rotation of Daryl's!

Oh God...unless they kill him off...I think I may have found a theme for my avatars. That'll hurt some souls! I still get an occasional message asking me where Zim went.

Wow, thank you very much both of you. By the way, it is "Miss Lysis" although that's easy to get mixed up when many (not all) females on this forum have faeries and dolphins as their avatar

Honestly, I may take a day or two. Workworkworkwork....will probably be in the office with the crew until 1am today.

So...finished a little early tonight. Thought about this a little today. Tough image to work with, honestly. I considered that you wore it on your arm, like a badge. So, i made it a badge. And, since it is an ATS badge, it should have your ATS name, right?

Make sure you use it as a background, not just an avatar.

It looks like you've set it as an avatar. If you want the full image, set the picture as a background like this;
Under TOOLS+ select ATS uploads and click on your new pic. It will come up with a screen like this;


Click on "Use as profile background" (where the arrow is pointing) and then hit submit.

Then go to TOOLS+ and scroll down the avatars bit like this;


Finally copy this into the avatars box, after removing the space between the 'h' and the 't'. It is an invisible gif.

Then hit submit for that.
Once you've done that you should have the full size background with an invisible pic in front that gives you the whole thing.

Druid started a thread about Gimp Tutorials that'll be pretty helpful too! We've even got Gimp-Yoda (Agarta) over there, so there will be a LOT of helpfull information to hone our skills a little more. I just do a lot of "playing around" with it, but he's definitely the "master"
