Oh, thanks. See, I thought it would do that. When I just placed the gate over the planet it looked alright because I could see the planet, but I thought it would look weird.

So, if your still down, I think the second one would look much better since the planet in it is rather small.

Anyways, cant tell you how thankful I am for this.

Oh its war now. lol I am going to push the limits on this one. I decided to detail the gate opening more, it just looked kind of simple in its actions plus putting the pic in and aligning it. I will triumph!!!! lol.

Edit to add. the rush of water that comes out in the opening now churns like it should lol.

I think you deserve an upgrade to a higher contributor status, wish I could recommend that or something. I dont think it should lie only on your flags or whatever it is, because you have helped so much that you deserve recognition.

Don't forget you can suggest to a Mod that someone receive applause for their work via the ALERT! function in the person's avatar space. If you leave a message to a Mod in the space provided detailing why you think they deserve it and the post or thread included, they can say yay or nay and give the person an applause for their efforts.

And given the challenge Agarta's had, and how he's risen up to it, I would definetely recommend him for an applause or two.

OK - I'm on a roll and feeling all lovey and stuff so I have entered another poem.

Here's a little insider information. When you are coming towards the end of your time at sea and are about a week out from jumping on the aeroplane to head home to see your loved ones you get overwhelmed with emotions where you find it difficult to concentrate on anything.

Not just married men but the single fellas as well - and its not what you think either - it effects everybody onboard and would be a similar feeling to knowing you are about to be set free.

This phenomena has a name - it is called The Channels because when you are at that stage of a few days away from getting off you literally start pacing up and down the bridge / alleyway / main deck or where-ever, consequently creating a metaphoric "channel" in the carpet where you walk.

Now, there aren't too many land-lubbers who know that so keep it to yourselves - we sailors have a reputation to uphold

Okay I won the battle but not sure of the war lol. So I got it down to the way I wanted it to look and correct file size so it can be used on ATS. It was nice and smooth flowing and looked good. After uploading it to ATS it seems the file has become a little choppy and I have no idea how to fix it as it works just fine on my computer. Anyway here is your new background (I know it is your old one but it is a slightly different size and position than the original)



And here is your long awaited new avatar.



I hope it is to your liking. Because I have worked it all down and used the background image in all locations rather than a transparency in the beginning it will not change the file size for me to replace it with other backgrounds in the future should you decide to change it. It will however take about 20 minutes to change the 7 frames that use the background image.

Wow, that is absolutely amazing! Words do not describe how grateful I am for this. I cant thank you enough for taking the time to make a spectacular avatar.

Kudos to you, I will be sue to give you the applause thing or whatever PurpleChitchen was referring to. I totally think you deserve some more recognition for doing this kinda stuff for people. I think I will give you recognition for this in my signature somewhere.

I sat here watching your new avatar and something about it just wasn't right. Being a Stargate fan myself I realized that the gate was being opened for absolutely no reason and they just don't do that lol. However they will open it for a very quick time to send a shuttle through if the danger or the unknown is there, So..... I added a shuttle. I hate to make you change it again but this one makes more sense lol.

I wish to thank those who were so kind in helping me create my avatar but the ALERT function says it is for a complaint only.. Is it ok to use it for other means? I am not quite familiar with the rules and the word moderator scares me LOL

I see a lot of folks running around wearing the boring generic Gadsden Flag for their avatar and figured I'd look up some more interesting images for them to choose from.
