The President Just Gave Himself Control Over ALL Communications.

fellow Americans: Left / Right - Dem / Repub - Liberal / Conservative - - if you are a carbon based form of life who breathes oxygen, then we'd better start looking at each other with empathetic eyes.
There's no finger to point, we didn't ask for this - just as we didn't ask for a never ending war. I pray you all don't turn this into some religious-insanity, or 'i told you so' nonsense - you are on the grid like I am and responsible for all that comes with it - like this craziness:

US President Barack Obama quietly signed his name to an Executive Order on Friday, allowing the White House to control all private communications in the country in the name of national security.

this is a tragic thing. i voted for this man. the disillusionment of what this country 'used' to be can now be buried. Home of the free, indeed.

in the event of martial law the govt/pres has the ability to take over all airways and media. put americans in work camps etc. so whats new with this. just another obama bash. I am not for him nor romney. we need to get rid of all parties.

Its not like he didn't give an overview of his goals before he was elected.

This topic has me so pissed off the president giving himself and DHS the control over all forms of comminications if they deem needed not just in case of massive civil unrest or martial law. I am sure the 72 Fusion Centers that are part of DHS and the Patriot act who listen in on everything we say and do to analyze us as possible threats to national security told the government how much people are fed up the government's abuses of our constitutional rights and all the talk of malitia and a possible revolution, rioting, civil unrest so what happens??? You guessed it another executive order granting control of all forms of communication so they can shut us down and take away or freedom of speach and we wont know what the hell is going on in politics because we cant get online to use the information act that allows us to see these new executive orders. Department of Homeland Opression gets more power and we are powerless, divided, and un-organized what do we do and when does it stop??

Im from the UK and this kind of "I want total control" from world leaders is getting out of control..
