My avatar. I suggest the song 'Orion'. It has no lyrics, it's an instrumental by Metallica from their Masters of puppets album back in the late
80's. It's a powerful song with alot of emotion. ~$heopleNation
A little depressing but Gary Jules "Mad World", or Manchester Orchestra's "I got friends", Led Zepplin "going to California", and Dan black
"symphonies" there are a few FOR YOU!
I'm thinking back to the Football World Cup 2010 in South Africa, and a song by K'Naan: Waving Flags.
I don't really think that song is a contender here, because it's already fixed to football, but it's nice to just remember an event by a song, and
even after two years it still has powerful meaning.
That's what a good anthem should do, no matter what the style.
So in this post, I'd just like to remember the kind of songs that gave meaning to life.
As the song implies, I did grow older, but I still remember:
Shakira - Waka Waka
Bob Marley - Coming in from the cold:
Bob Marley - Iron, like a lion in Zion:
