N.Y. Authorities Identify Thieves Who Have Been Stealing Flags from Civil War Graves

Who would steal flags from Civil War graves? Authorities in Hudson, New York believe they have found the culprits in a rash of cemetery flag thefts.
The thieves are... are you ready for this? Woodchucks.
Police used cameras and confirmed that the flags were in the woodchucks' burrows.
Around 75 flags were reported missing from Civil War graves in the days leading up to and following Independence Day. The flags apparently are coated with a substance that attracts woodchucks.

This is all a massive conspiracy from our corporate overlords.

They purposefully coated the flags in the woodchuck attracting material. They used monsanto to engineer a synthetic woodchuck scent, which they coated the flags with. Knowing FULL WELL that the woodchucks would steal all of the flags, ensuring returning and repeating purchasing of said flags.

It's all about profits

Heh heh, actually this is more believable than some of the things I've read on ATS
