Live Link to Homs Syria

I found a live feed to Homs Syria, and thought i would share it,
I have been watching it for some time now,you can hear and see
the war going on...

War in direct ! .. thats one hell of a sighting
very clear and fast bandwith .. where does that equipment comes from
after connecting to the live feed a big shell impacted nearby with flying bullet seconds after
and it was damn loud ..

This is the first live feed from Syria Ive seen. Thanks for sharing. I watched a few live feeds from Libya when the war was in full swing there.

I started watching about 5 minutes ago, and I can hear a little shelling and rockets of some type going off.

ETA - the second after I hit reply, it sounded like a quick firefight just broke out.

For now it looks peaceful.

Western media are jubilant over the defection of a Syrian TV channel reporter, Ghatan Sleiba, who had been unaccounted for since Wednesday, June 27, and reappeared on Monday, July 2, in Turkey. In an interview with The Guardian, he revealed he was a spy working for the "rebels" for 7 months. He claims to have provided them during that time with sensitive information on army movements. The Western press has presented Ghatan Sleiba as a journalist for Ad-Dunya, adding that he also worked freelance for Al-Ikhbariya. He had been missing since June 27, that is to say, since the commando operation that raided the studios of the private television station, killing four guards during the assault, before murdering three TV anchors in cold blood and demolishing the premises. According to the Western account, Ghatan Sleiba was apparently both a journalist and a spy, in defiance of international conventions. And his flight would have coincided with the murder of his colleagues. Under such circumstances, one cannot but be amazed to see The Guardian and France24 celebrating him as a hero: or is it that these media workers can recognize themselves in his behavior? All the same, the The Guardian and France24 journalists have ridiculed themselves: Ghatan Sleiba worked in television only ten days more than a year ago. He has never been the spy he purports to be. He is just an imaginative young man who concocted a CV to find work with one of the channels created by the CIA for the consumption of the Syrian people.

the last artillery round sounded like it came in right over my head,
and the explosion was huge,then you could here gunfire..

I'm hearing everything posted above but I can't see anything. Not even smoke.

Dam i knew i should've added to my favourites and watched in the morning.

I wont be getting sleep tonight(intense footage/sound), just heard what sounded like an airstrike, with some firefights in between.

Or was it artillery?

Same here. I think the camera guy just set up the camera and left it. Since Ive been watching, it has only been moved once.

and zoom in,you can see the destruction in the city very good

What trips me out is the birds are chirping like nothings going on!!

absolutely mind blowing. sitting here in sydney with a live link to homs. one question though....i have heard 3 extremely loud exposions from ??? missiles yet have not seen one puff of dust. i am starting to question if it is some sort of sound link repeater ???

You bet, i would imagine its a calming sound to them fighting.

I know if i wake up and hear the birds chirping nice and loud, its going to be a great day.

Which is odd,, in Bosnia when the war was started the birds stayed pretty much quiet till the it was over.
