I'm a first timer to the forums, but after some signs of confirmation I believe it was time to pass whatever information I came across along. I come from a long line of paranormal phenomena with many years of family history spanning from Yemen in middle east all the way to the Puerto Rico. My mother, before she died, was a phenomenal tarot reader. She practiced Santeria, but I didn't know this until I was 14, when she passed. She was able to predict my aunt's pregnancy, my uncle-in-law's death, my cousin's shooting, and another uncle getting a woman pregnant who intentionally poked holes in a condom in order to trap him in a relationship. I'll go into a bit of detail of my back story.

When I was 13:
I was living with my grandfather and uncle. One night my uncle was talking to me. Apparently a long standing phenomena that occurred with males on my mother's side of the family were women that attempted to seduce them in their sleep. Usually beautiful women, often in long flowing dresses. My uncle was going through serious relationship issues because of it. His current girlfriend was jealous of this woman that didn't exist. It used to happen to my grandfather, from what the family told me. I was also warned to be careful.

When I was 16:
My grandfather is praised as a hero and legend in his village. One reason being that he fought off bandits in the desert. They say he beat up 12 men with his bare hands. This story has been passed on through my own family, but I never believed it until I was shopping while in my father's country. One of the guys running the shop asked me my name, because I was obviously from outside of the country. When I told him, he immediately knew who I was. He knew about my grandfather and retold the story. He said that my grandfather was a hero and also gave me a big discount. Something else he mentioned startled me. He said that my grandfather was also known for disappearing into the sea for 15-20 years, then returning, older, with a long beard, and no recollection of the events. I remember my grandmother in the past, mentioning the story, but never bothered taking it to heart. A lot of things are blown out of proportion by her, because she is a very religious muslim. She claims to have seen the children that he had with the "Jinn" that took him to the ocean, swimming around at time.

When I was 16 or so, before visiting Yemen:
Me and my little brother were watching TV. My father was in another state visiting some friends. Someone rang the doorbell. Him and I both ran to answer. We looked out the peephole and saw a short-haired blonde girl run to the side of the door. I figured it was our friend D. D looked exactly like that, it looked EXACTLY like her. We went out into the hall, but no one was there. I gave my brother a knife and told him to wait by the door. I scoured the halls of the building, but no one was around.

When I was 17:
Me and another neighbor were coming up the elevator. Our friend D was with us downstairs, but said she'd take the stairs up. The elevator door was between the stairs and her apartment. Me and my neighbor saw her run to her door through the glass in the elevator. We went to her house and knocked. Her parents and brother said she wasn't there. We were upset because we thought she ditched us and her parents were lying and covering for her. We decided to go back down the stairs outside, only to see her talking to the Super of the building. She never made it upstairs.

Later that year:
My father and I got into an argument. He kicked me out of the apartment.I had my CD player and sat at the bottom of my steps, leaning against the wall, listening to music in the hall. I figured he'd let me back in soon, though it was 3 in the morning. I sat there and zoned out, but before I could really get into the music, I looked up the stairwell and noticed this blonde haired girl peeking at me over the banister. I never had been so frightened in my life. My friend tells me that I was as white as a ghost as I banged on his door trying to get him to let me in. I don't remember much of what happened, aside from seeing the girl, and waking up in my friend's house downstairs the next day.

At 18:
I moved across the country, 650 miles away. I was living with 2 friend and we all had our own rooms. I locked my door before I went to sleep because we liked to play pranks on one-another. Nothing was more annoying than waking up to fireworks in a bucket or a fully-revved up weedeater in the middle of the night. One night I went to sleep as normal. While sleeping I saw my closet light turn on. I saw the girl, but this time she had dyed her hair darker. She floated out of the closet, stood at the bottom of my bed and just smiled at me. I woke up from this strange dream to find my closet light on and my closet door slightly ajar.

At 19:
Again, I move another 700 miles away. I fall asleep on my couch. This time I see the girl, but she is younger. She is being chased by a dark shadow. She is begging for my help and I try to help her, but I couldn't move.

At 22 or 23:
I move again, back to second place. I see her again in a dream. She seems to be following me. I told her to leave me alone. She wouldn't comply. I woke up and told the story to a friend of mine who seemed to think I should be aggressive. A couple of nights later I saw her again while sleeping. I chased her down the hall and chased her to a bedroom where I proceeded to break mirrors.

I realized only later that the person chasing her in the dream I had at 19 was actually me at 22 or 23. This is just one of the many things that have happened over the course of my life. I have much more to share and no one to share with as I don't want my family and friends to think I am crazy. I know there is much more to it all and perhaps with some help from people with more experience, I can get the answers I'm looking for. Or at the very least, I can have some assurances that I am not crazy.

The reason for me coming to this site is that while sleeping, one evening, I experienced a bizarre occurrence. It was definitely not of this earth and left me with questions that no one I know personally would be able to answer. Hopefully within the course of my time here, I will be able to explain.

Hey,

So basically, the question is are you blessed or are you in some kind of real time physical time-warp. If you made this up, you are obviously one sick puppy, if you didn't then you should obviously not be afraid of what is happening as it is most likely happening for a reason don't you think? This may sound completely ludacris, and I definetely do not have any psychological background to make reasonable recommendations on the matter but simply put, embrace it, and learn from it, that all you can really do in this reality.
