Most of you have no clue as to what you are talking about. First of All, you will know the anti christ because the Rapture will take place before then and then all hell will break loose for one year or so.

Then that is when the Anti- Christ comes in and helps everyone out making them put 666 somewhere all their body, Hence the mark of the beast during this time you can still go to heaven but, the holy spirit will not be here any more to help you in your thinking and they are not just going to kill you they are going to torture you untill you swear you don't know, believe, or ever believed in God.

But that is just some peoples beilieves, Jehova's Witnesses thinks that we are in a heaven like place right now. Some indian culture worship cows .. not sure what thats about never really studied that culture ... Then there is a culture who think that the Devil and Jesus were brothers ... LoL ... and I can see that God made everything ... hence the Devil is your brother ... AGH ... and god said to love everyone does that mean love the devil ??? Or maybe that is the only way to trully defeat the devil. Becasue he can't handle love ... and God is Love ... so what if the devil was the opposite end of the spectrum .... but to be opposite end that woudl mean god would have had to make him . And god could not make Evil right ? SO I believe that the devil has always been around. and just desgised himself as an angel. Maybe this!!!!! maybe that!!!!!! ... maybe we are all in a huge box that we cannot imagine and there are many millions of other creatures just watching over us in one way mirrors on every side of the boxes ... but the box itself is aproximately 100 light yeras by 100 light years.... and the mirrors ahev teh scientist boggled ... the further they look into the mirror the further distance that they see but it is the same distance and the same stars but just different angles. Wow you so confused you confusing everybody else.Maybe all that we no that is all that there is.
No God,no devil,no heaven,no hell,death ends and there is nothing else.You die and that is it.
Everything else all other theories are just a way of insecure humans from accepting that this is all you have with no future after death.Sad thought but there is no evidance beyond conjecture to prove otherwise.

Can someone ---anyone------tell me where the word ANTI-CHRIST appears in the "Book of Revelation?" Read the book a couple of times through first.

HINT: Even if you CAN READ KOINE GREEK, you will NOT BE ABLE TO FIND IT in that book.

There is NO LINGUISTIC EVIDENCE that the person who wrote the grammatical howlers in the ferociously BAD Greek of the Apocalypse of Yohanon the Elder (Book of Revelation) was the same author as "John the Elder" (whoever he was) who wrote the highly polished Greek of 1, 2 and 3 John with an Ephesian accent....

I believe the United States makes a better candidate for the new Roman Empire. I recall scripture in Daniel referring to seat of power moving to the west with a head of gold (Rome?) and feet of Iron mixed with clay (US?). Rome never actually controlled (governed) the known world. They controlled much of the world through the threat of military power or through the shear power of their wealth. When they arrived, they were greeted with open arms and hated behind their backs. They were able to take over without spilling a drop of blood in many cases and there was no need to kill leaders who could be easily bought. Sound familiar????

people get to caught up about the beast/antichrist.obviously because this person is the ultimate bad guy of all time, it holds a place in the human psyche and with continual upsurgance of the occult in society, from churchs to tv &movies (the film hellboy for example, i wonder WTF the makers of that film were thinking ), i guess it makes some sense that its a popular topic online, but there are way to many misconceptions.some guy writes a book (of pure fiction) and it sells millions of copies and becomes fact (Left Behind anyone??) i say its pure fiction because once you dilute the pure truth with your own ideas you lose ALL the truth.

Yes when the end times occurs and the beast arrives it will be heavy stuff as it has never been before or will be again. But again its GOD who is in control, Jesus himself said that the end times would be the "TIMES OF VENGENCE" so that ALL THINGS WRITTEN in the bible would be fullfilled. Who do you think is taking vengence?? little green men or God??

I guess my point is that many many many people spend time on things or subjects like the beast than actually getting to know God through his grace via his son Jesus. No point worrying about anything, seeing as worrying itself makes NO DIFFERENCE.

Finally i leave you with this thought(one ive posted before): the SAME book that speaks of the beast also speaks of 1 billion people (1 third of the population of the earth) being destroyed WAY before all the other things happen..this will be in some form of war. That is in many ways the first main thing that begins to unfold in revelations with the angels bound at the euphraites river. So its not like the beast does broadway , writes a book and waltzes over to the middle east to make peace. will the world be like it is now after 1 third of the earths population have perished???? Will the interent even exist???? Will we be able even to post on a site like this again???

good stuff; however, i have this concern. if the latter is true that would mean that the second coming of the christ has occured and the earth has experienced a thousand years of peace. but wait, where was the peice?it must have been the destruction of rome by the barbarians. or the crusades. well, maybe my time is a little off but where is the peace? promised in revelation after the anti-christ is defeated? must have been a misinterpretation in all the books of the bible that prophesied the second coming at the judgement. get back to me and tell me my faults.

thats another thing that worries me, theres more people now in the church that deny a physical second coming of the Lord Jesus and his reign on earth. Why is this and where did they get that from?? Doesnt the bible clearly indicate Jesus returns ?? Doesnt the pslams say that a time will come when the meek truely will inherit the earth??

Ok now how can ANYONE not see what that means? Am I way off to suggest that it means what it says?? A time will come ON EARTH when the meek will inherit the earth, will seek the "place" of the wicked and wont find them? ie there will be NO WICKEDNESS on earth?

As a result much of the original works of literature were burned, including the sybilline books. The Scribes That copied these books were killed. This occured again in the middle ages when another movement swept across Europe, Believers murdered in the hundreds of thousands.
The spanish church killed thousands upon thousands of Mayans, burned their writings in fires that took months to consume the literature they had written over thousands of years. What has been found , is fascinating. It would have leveled the Church in Europe.

Along the lines of Satan.... he was a "good" angel before he was bad.
-my thoughts are he didn't like Gods idea of giving us freewill, he perhaps thought it was a bad idea, because we could easily be decieved. So he went about to prove his beliefes, and show God the mistake he was making.

Instead of just knowing the right way, God used Satan to show us the right way, without him(satan) even knowing it (I presume)

What power would an individual hold over you if you knew it was power they were trying to attain?
or, what if you knew your sister/brother was trying to trick you, would you still fall for it?
or, if you knew the present you were about to recieve, would you still act surprised? or be overwhelmed?

but under this line of thought, could one be truly angery with Satan? how many of us have believed something so much we continue blinded until we realize our error, or come to our own end.

It referes also of its complete distruction before the Rapture of the church, meaning anyone that shall believe in Jesus will be changed in a blink of an eye (as in the days of Noah). Rapture are the believers, the entire church. The believers are the bride of Christ, they rise up in the clouds with him, (meeting him after transformation in the sky) taken to the wedding supper. The honeymoon last a total of 7 years.

(however there will be some left behind who are christians, to lead others). If you are one left behind remember you have only 7 years, you will be under this dictator the antichrist, you will take the mark and submit to this man. After the 7 years, Jesus and all of the wedding party (the saints- remember a little song) Oh when the saints come marching in I want to be in that number, when the saints come marching in. Christ will set up his rule for a period of 1000 years,
