This seriously better not be an attempt at humour. It's not funny.

I would be profoundly effected if this were showing the same from many people. But this is just one guy, We can't really get anything from that. I did notice as the interviewer walked away, while the guy was still in the chair, it looked like he was laughing.

Can't blame the guy for being honest.
Honestly, I'm sure 80% of the people I've done business with think's exactly the same unless nightly news tell them so. I'm a minority, the guy asking question is a minority,

He was laughing because he couldn't believe how wrong the young guy was.

Feeble minded people live longest and are more healthy, Simply because they are too stupid to worry.

He was just annoyed and didn't care what he answered the guy with. The interviewer was kind of a di^& and really should have asked permission to ask him questions and film the response if he wanted to get good information from the man. The interviewer is a joke and clearly needs more tact and skill if he is trying to prove something. Poor work.

The problem is that most of the "baby boomer" generation feel the same way.
They don't question authority, or gov't because they didn't have access to info like we do today.
Now that we can get alot of information on our own, we see the hidden truth.
WE see the lies and deceit that has fed a nation for decades.

And we don't want to bend over and take it.

Everyone should do themselves a favor and talk to people.
Get out there and talk to them, like I have...and talk to your parents especially.
See what it is that they "trust" so much and why.

Then all of you naysayers may understand how bad it really is.

This reporter, amateur or not, is doing exactly what WE all should be doing.
Asking questions...finding out the TRUTH.

There is a large blanket covering the eyes of alot of Americans.
This older gentleman just proves this theory.

It's time we uncovered their eyes.

What a shame to see that! I do my best to teach my four boys to question everything and everyone! Teachers, friends, politicians, and even me as their mother because even I am not the end all be all! They are growing up being taught that both parties are crap and that even the lesser of two evils is still evil. That it is important to THINK and REASON things out! Not to just follow along because you are told to! I even teach them to question their own beliefs and always be open to new ideas, being wrong and growing forward.

Actually no really, people in the 60s plus are the baby boomers the ones that defied authority in the 60s the so call hippies and innovators they changed the face of politics and human rights, they had not problem protesting and giving the finger to big brother, the generations after, are the ones that slowly and certainly have doomed America with lack of iniciative and allowing big brother to get bigger.

In my neck of the woods people seems to be very informed, they are not by any means gullible and stupid when it comes to government dealings and corruption and have no problem expressing themselves in groups conversations.

I got the feeling that the video was staged.

Because there is no need to stage something of this nature.
For example, I work with so called intelligent adults. In our profession we all have various state and federal licenses, college degrees etc. One of my co-workers thinks WWII hapened in 1960. Another one asked me "World War One that was the Germans right?, but what about World War Two? My glare of disbelief was my answer.

I do not even attempt SOPA, NDAA, FEMA camps, FEMA box cars, G20, Bilderburg, FIAT currency, Fracking or the like.

Boy, makes me love you guys at ATS even more!

That guy just fears our government and didn't want to get caught on camera saying anything bad about it. I'm not coming to his defense he seemed like an @$$ but something tells me that if someone he knew was detained he wouldn't be all that passive.

I have a feeling he interviewed a militia or black op or someone who could not voice his opinion, and so it really wasn't a typical opinion. Something in the guys stance.

Uh... this is beyond disturbing. So let's say the majority is as brainwashed as this poor man is; that means the minority is subject to the horrors & abuse of the government; and even as "liberty-lovers" or any other dissenters are targeted as terrorist --- possibly detained/tortured/killed.... "Americans" like this guy would probably say it's perfectly ok because the government/president are completely trustworthy, in-corruptable entities...

As if history hasn't shown that tyranny is consistently working in the backdrops to seat itself on the throne again.

Please tell me drones like this are isolated cases, because if not then we're really in trouble.

I think it's more of a case of just not wanting to talk to the kid. He was more annoyed than serious.

There probably are people like that guy out there though. I know one guy that is Obama crazy. It's creepy, he was the only person I have seen that wasn't welcome at an occupy protest (they let homeless people hang out and this guy wasn't welcome) because he was trying to align it with democrats and make the protest pro Obama, which as anyone that knows anything outside of what Fox news tells them will tell you, Occupy is FAR from being Pro Obama.

I don't think it was staged at all. I think the guy just literally didn't care to be interviewed. He obviously wouldn't agree to being killed if the government thought it was right. He was just telling the kid what he knew he wanted to hear so he would leave him alone.

This seems like one of those videos that are made and published to make it seem like this guys' way of thinking is the new norm. This video will bring a few more into the same fray, same line of thinking because now it's "official," it's ok for this generation to think like the way this guy does. It's on video -it must be true.

Subtle, but effective way to manipulate. Some will view and think, I thought I was the only one. Some will view it and jump onto the bandwagon.

You gotta love those bandwagons. More often than not the driver is an idiot.

The guy is right. Obama would never do anything to hurt anybody. The drones are to protect us from muslims/terroristswho want to kill us christians with weapons of mass destruction. The NDAA is for terrorists, not American citizens. The pictures of the blown up kids in the middle east from the supposed drone strikes, Those are faked. They were faked bye republicans. I fully trust my life to Obama and Michelle, the government is my soulflower, I know it will take care of me , This country needs more laws, people think they can do whatever they want in their house,,not if I can help it. I wish that Ron Paul guy would stop running around exposing these bills that no one ever even heard of , Im sick of that Ron Paul too, he is always talking about our rights,,screw our rights, we dont need them anyway.

It looked to me like he was annoyed. If a this guy came up to me with an obvious agenda, I would have told him off like this guy was trying to do. I don't care what he was taking about. The guy wasn't serious, just trying to enjoy his 4th of July and get that "reporter" away from him. I say reporter in quotes because he isn't one. Just an annoying guy with a camera. I'm happy the guy is trying to spread the word on such things, but this is not the way to do it.
