CNN has FAILED in their news report...what I mean is they said Pluto is a PLANET...so why believe anything after they say that? They have their "facts" mixed up...

Its hardly impossible for the theoretical planet to not be visible. If its at the outer edges of our solar system, and is a brown dwarf that doesn't reflect light at an intensity that we can observe, then its definitely possible we can't see it. The rest of your post I agree to, though.

I don't care what anyone says, I'm 56 years old and Pluto was always a planet my whole life and as long as I am alive Pluto will still be a planet to me.

Go Pluto, Yaaaaaaay.

I love Dr. Neal Dagrassi but he can shove Pluto up his Astrophysicist arse.

Sorry, I got sidetracked. Niburu no longer exists if it even ever existed. Possibly the asteroid belts could have been a planet that the ancients might have thought of as Niburu but as for some planet that is going to destroy us in December, it isn't going to happen.

There are so many here on ATS that want some form of catastrophe to happen to the earth that it is ridiculous. If it's not niburu it's zombies. You guys need to take a chill pill or go see a shrink cause you have some major problems up top.

As far as the OP is concerned he is entitled to his opinion. I support his right to believe in any earth-shattering catastrophe he wants to.

No one ever bothers to check the uploader comments do they?

There are some other links provided. I'm not saying there is proof.

But this National Geographic article is interesting..

National Geographic

New Planet Found in Our Solar System?
Odd orbits of remote objects hint at unseen world, new calculations suggest.
An as yet undiscovered planet might be orbiting at the dark fringes of the solar system, according to new research.

Too far out to be easily spotted by telescopes, the potential unseen planet appears to be making its presence felt by disturbing the orbits of so-called Kuiper belt objects, said Rodney Gomes, an astronomer at the National Observatory of Brazil in Rio de Janeiro.

Kuiper belt objects are small icy bodies—including some dwarf planets—that lie beyond the orbit of Neptune.

Once considered the ninth planet in our system, the dwarf planet Pluto, for example, is one of the largest Kuiper belt objects, at about 1,400 miles (2,300 kilometers) wide. Dozens of the other objects are hundreds of miles across, and more are being discovered every year.

(See "Three New 'Plutos'? Possible Dwarf Planets Found.")

What's intriguing, Gomes said, is that, according to his new calculations, about a half dozen Kuiper belt objects—including the remote body known as Sedna—are in strange orbits compared to where they should be, based on existing solar system models. (Related: "Pluto Neighbor Gets Downsized.")

The objects' unexpected orbits have a few possible explanations, said Gomes, who presented his findings Tuesday at a meeting of the American Astronomical Society in Timberline Lodge, Oregon.

"But I think the easiest one is a planetary-mass solar companion"—a planet that orbits very far out from the sun but that's massive enough to be having gravitational effects on Kuiper belt objects.

You could call it "Nibiru Raiders of Uranus".

Already doing that one as my interim film

The first one is about Gomes' theoretical planet, which is not a discovery, it's a theory which puts a hypothetical planet much farther from the inner solar system than Nibiru is supposed to be (so it's not the same at all), the second link just references back to youtube, specifically Donny Gilson videos, a guy who is a proven liar, thief, and hoaxer.

You should probably stop looking at the sun. It's not good for your eyes.

I guess that's why an Indian guy has been surviving for some 15 years without eating, just by looking at the sun, huh
It's so bad for your eyes!!! Besides the fact that it improves vision and provides essential energy to your body, WHEN DONE RIGHT. Stop spewing bull# you've been taught since age 3, most of what you think you know is WRONG including things you probably think are trivial, like this. Sun gazing is one of the healthiest things to do, when done properly. People have been doing it for thousands of years.

Don't look at the sun at any other time than an hour after sunrise and an hour before sunset and you will be just fine.

I think we will have to wait until planet X crashes into us before we have the proof of its existence or not. If 2 suns can be seen on one particular day from one particular location, then how come we don't see it every day from the same or close to the same location. If planet X or Nubiru is a dark star or brown dwarf only giving out infra red light, we would never see it at all. Why would it glow like a second sun, yet be invisible to the naked eye, makes no sense.

Dont you want to believe? Isnt what we have been told about history borring dont you wish there was somting more to it someting super exiting. Nibiru is real. The 2012 hype
Is just cover for the military and governments to prepare for nibirus and et arrival. Ets will arrive this augs or even before during olympics.

Sure it would be great. But ages ago I did the numbers on when Nibiru should come back if it was real and now is not that time. It was hundreds of years away (i think, .... my memory on when is a bit rusty but I know it is NOT now).

And guess what, just because something seems boring to someone, doesn't mean that something magic is going to happen. That is fanciful. I reckon there are heaps of things that are unexplainable at this point in time (but science is breaking new ground every day - take the Higgs particle, THAT is amazing and on that point, I was joking around when I typed the post that you came back at with deep and profound passion) and YES I wish that there are ETs and that they are visiting earth, but unfortunately, I haven't seen anything yet that unequivocally say it has happened or is happening. Although at this point, I think I would rather give more probability to ETs than religion.
Regards

Steve

Okay, correct me if I'm wrong here, but this is the background as I remember it: The whole Nibiru thing started off with that Zacharia Sitchin saga involving reptiles and stuff, then that bloke who wrote Genesis of the Grail Kings picked up on the story around 15 years ago, and that book was heavily advertised in the Nexus magazine. Incidentally, this appears to be where David Icke got his reptilian stuff from 5 years later.

Anyway, practically every issue of Nexus from around 2000 - 2003 carried stories about how Nibiru/Planet X was coming to kill us in 2003, having completed some epic 3600-year orbit. It was backed up by a substantial amount of pseudo-science and a bit of maths. Being very young and naive at the time, I kind of half-believed it. It was all FUD, and come 2003 there was no Nibiru, no sign of it, nothing.

Now that distant rock on the edge of the solar system does not resemble Nibiru as presented by a handful of theorists all those years ago.

And it's impossible for there to be a gas giant 4 times the size of jupiter and we not see it.

It's PHYSICALLY impossible.

Actually this isn't true. If this planet were to exist and act like a trojan asteroid then it would be next to impossible see and could only be spotted in the infrared spectrum. This is just one of the things that the WISE satellite is looking for. And as little as we know when it comes to the universe you should know nothing is impossible.

Pluto has been reclassified as a dwarf planet. So it's still a planet just a little one.

WISE is no longer looking. It's done.

All of it's data was released back in March of this year. John Matese and Daniel Whitmire are using the data to see if their theory of Tyche can be confirmed or not. They've said it will take a couple of years to sift though the data however. So far they've not found anything.

Tyche however is not Sitchin's Nibiru as he defined it. Tyche is theorized to be a dark companion to the sun that might influence Kuiper belt objects, and help explain the orbits of some long period comets.

As others have said, this is just a hyped up story about a hypothesis that isn't even as the OP described.
Not only that the story is from early 2011, February by my reckoning...

The ticker at the bottom states "Update: Review reaches no conclusion on source of 2001 anthrax".

Story on CNN: February 15th 2011

articles.cnn.com...:US

This news is old news, and irrelevant at that.

And to the guy that told him not to stare at the sun, please don't do that. Hopefully he won't be able to operate the computer soon due to being unable to see the screen.
