Pain of Salvation

I know I've posted my fair share on bands in the Music forum but when it comes down to it Pain of Salvation beats them all. At their core they're a prog metal band from Sweden. However, that doesn't do them justice. Every album is a concept album and every album has a sound that fits its concept. Unfortunately this makes it hard to showcase their unique style and talents. I will post some of my favorite songs but I can tell you now it will be many and even that won't do them proper justice.

I liked BE, even if it was kind of pretentious.

Gildenlow is certainly talented, I just wish he did more bluesy riffing like with Transatlantic.

BE is the one album I don't really get. Not in the way that I don't understand the concept (I mean Daniel created an entire website to explain it complete with citations.) There's just so few songs I connect with on that album.
