Hello to all the members of the board,

I have been reading the threads here for a while and find ATS to be quite a remarkable place. It's good to see such a large range of topics open to discussion in a well thought out and regulated fashion. Thumbs up to the ATS staff.

A bit about myself,

I'm a free thinking type person and currently live I on the east coast of Australia. Life is good at the moment and hopefully will remain that way. My interests include woodwork, photography and growing organic food/heritage crops in my vege garden. I also like to keep up to date on world news and events and that is how I found these forums. I am looking forward to joining you in the task of "Denying Ignorance".

As more people in my country connect to the internet we're realising that our newspapers don't really give us a non-bias report of the news. They tend to inject a certain opinion into their reporting or not report it all. Basically we've had our heads in the sand and now we can see a bit more clearly with the aid of the internet. I have told my friends about ATS and they think it's great. I'm sure you'll see a lot more Aussies turning up trying to get educated.
