Yes, the writer(s) really thought about Truman and added some of the mystery school teaching within it.

Any one seen the Dr Who episode "silence in the library"? Anyway, people were saved inside the computer when they died and lived in a world created by the computer. There is a program that looks like a person called Dr Moon who is trying to keep the program from realizing the truth.

There is a current theory that someday someone will come along and recreate the universe to study it. This includes the people in it. I sometimes wonder if it's already happened. Maybe we destroyed ourselves and the planet and this is the recreation/simulation that is running to try and determine what happened. If the program runs and we don't destroy ourselves it is rerun with some changes to try and reach the desired result. This could explain past life memories, Deja Vu, people with memories of things that didn't happen, and many more unexplained phenomenon.

Just something fun I like to roll around in my brain sometimes.

I think its more like a dimensional prison. The real prison is our own skull and mind. Skull and bones, eh? The fear of death, our own fears and twisted psyche?

The planet itself is the prison. I'm not saying mother earth is an enemy, or is it? Maybe, maybe not. Perhaps she could be a neutral ally. Of course there is no escape, no exit signs. Or maybe we all have to built our personal exit door, each? A private gataway? How does it sound?

Is it everyone against anyone? What do you think? Or there are perhaps 2 main factions of the cabal, the light one and a dark one? Just like in the Jedi order? Or its probably just a state of mind? Depends how you want to see things....

The Truman delusion you describe is a Grandiose delusion or Persecutory delusion that is centered around the persons perception of their own reality.

The fact that the OP is saying "We" rather than "I" shows that this is a theory and not a delusion.

If he/she were to say, "I am in a Truman like show and you are all actors or against me" that is a delusion.

Read the first post again as the theory is based upon references that have been noticed and asks a question, that is all.

It would be a prime candidate, from what I have learned.

So much is fake from our real world.
Strangers telling and enacting stories to (trusting) strangers to get their way.
So much better, cleaner and easier than having to do the real thing.

How on earth is that poster a 9/11 reference? Showing a plane with terrorist as one of four travel hazards? Terrorists existed pre 9/11 you know and the plane is being shown as the advert is about travel! It is not suggesting that the plane is hijacked or that the terrorists are even going to do this. Terrorists target people abroad on land, hence it is mentioned in an advert about insurance!

Geeze some people really do read waaaay too far into things.

OMG how is that a 9/11 reference? A poster warning of dangers travelling abroad with terrorism as only ONE danger. Terrorism has existed for centuries and has been a hazard since we started travelling around. Modern terrorism was active long before 9/11! Look at embassy attacks, plane bombings, political kidnappings etc. Why do people jump to such insane conclusions?!?!

Quite interesting Jim Carrey was playing the main character, maybe playing that character gave him the boost to start asking questions, eventually he realized a greater truth of our existence:

I have said this before, if anything is "New age" it is christianity, many religions were here and existed along side christianity through the age of pisces, they will be here long after christianity has died out.

All your references may be true. However, I still don't get why people find it so hard to believe that entertainers simply make movies about things they think will be of interest / sell to the public. Often it's stuff like UFO, disaster movies, or stuff like this. Just because it has conspiracy overtones or is a conspiracy subject doesn't mean all the producers and movie studios are trying to pass us secret messages.

Not all movies that cover conspiracies ARE conspiracies - in fact, I'd venture a guess that next to none are.

I re-watched this morn as this is of great interest to me.

and YES there is an overt 911 reference .. but before I drop it ... I must say ...

the reason I take such interest here ..is .. I worked for a company that handles XBOX tech support .. the company is called ALPINE ACCESS.. customer service agents work from home ..(yes ..if you call XBOX tech support ..or even use the chat/text funtion .. you are most likely talking to someone who is working in their HOME OFFICE... answering your questions from a VKB .. ((knowledge base))

I noticed early on that some of the calls were "test calls" ... Miscrosoft testing the ability/quality of the agents to handle situations ... some were pretty blatant .. anyhow ... without going into a LOONG backstory.. (thinngs like this have been happening since I put some funny radio ads about W on local AirAmerica for my small business.. 10 years ago)

I began to get calls that were very disconcerting .. like ... I had just made coffee and a guy called and asked "did you put enough cream there? .. and hung up ... another was ..

I had just finished a rant at GF about how we are all eventually going to be laundry room slaves.... (she worked in a laundry at the time) .. I started my shift ..(she was standing there so I have a witness .Im at home remember) ..and protocol is to ask the caller for their email to search .. he says .."ok ..its kinda long ..and spells out "[email protected]" .... wasnt in the database of course .. he laughs and hangs up ...

It got pretty bad from there ... to the point I quit .. I was posting positive Ron Paul stuff here and there ... and the "emails" some would give began to be along the lines of "you are a pedo" ..and "nggr lover" etc ...

If you look at my post history .. I then came on here and posted some ANTI Paul stuff .. pro Romney or Perry .. just to try to protect myself .... (the posts were so inane ..it was amusing to read the responses) ...

anyhow .. long story I quit .. however ..I am CONVINCED that there is a community out there that is using this big survelliance grid .. for Jollies .... and they are setting cams everywhere on anyone they want to watch .. very Truman show like ...

all I have are my experiences .. that I know are true....

I have been reduced to a penniless, unemployed shell of a once hard working man .... and I think that, many times, this is the plan ... ..hammer down the nail that sticks up...

ok 911 reference .. movie opens up ... its day 10909 of Trumans life ... he really senses something is wrong on .. you guessed it .. 10911 ....

PS .. I expect that ... just like everything else is controlled .. the only people that will see this are actors ... and responses will be canned .. if not .. if someone normal or has knowledge of this .. or can symapathize ..please message me

I've been feeling this trueman show syndrome of late, but not me, all of us, humanity is the guy in the film. We have been given the scripture, script, and now we are acting the part, the whole world is a stage.... What's next in this movie?
