God particle is 'found': Scientists at Cern expected to announce on Wednesday Higgs boson particle

Its all very well and good we have found the Higgs Boson but the big question is what does it taste like?

So they think the higgs field was created at the begging of the big bang,, and it is invisible,,,, and has been stretched out since the begging of the big bang and is now present throughout the entire distance and dimension of the universe,,, its kind of a big net that slows down the energy of light,, huddles it together,,, and makes it dense,, and weigh?

Yes, and if the beings running this experiment (our universe) set HIGGS_DISABLED to 1 we are SCREWED (spontaneous combustion of all matter).

do you understand what it is or how it works? where it exists?


I just dont get why anyone cant simply say what this thing is,, how it gets and creates mass? where it gets the mass from? what its composed of,,,, its a pure massless quanta of energy? which when existing, decays into matter with mass?



everyone feels real good thinking they are on the winning team by siding with science,,, but id really love someone to simply describe this thing,,,,,,,, you can call me out,, but i have been looking at articles and lectures on this thing,,, i will say it is a fault with me and my inability to understand,,, but if one of you knows about this thing,, you can surely explain it,, and in quite simple terms,,,

This vid sums it up in laymans terms pretty well

I think of the Dalai Lama smiling, and I see his beautiful use of humor to communicate peace, freedom and love. I see how children are the greatest messengers of laughter. When I hear my little boys laugh with all of their being, it brings a kind of therapy to the whole house that is uplifting and contagious. I think about how children arrive here so recently from God’s presence, and I wouldn’t be surprised to find that humor abounds in heaven. It seems to me that laughter aligns us with the divine. I think it’s a gateway to love – that transcendent fabric of the universe, and I believe it can deliver us to a higher, more golden existence.

This bosoning is wasteful of Human's resources.

Someone earlier talked about being able to move things at the speed of light, or "dissovling" paricles and re-forming them in another place (I'm 16 and stupid so if I'm wrong please forgive) You could use the particle to weaponize by making a bullet, or other harmful object, re-form in someone, or removing an organ or something and making it appear elsewhere, or on a mass scale by moving an entire town or country. (Again I must say that I know nothing of this particle except what I've read here so please forgive my ignorance, and also my grammar)
