i was born with a triangle shape in my left eye

I see a very definitive triangular shape which is duller than the eye color surrounding it, Anyone who cant see it needs glasses.

We are all born with various anomaly's including our eyes which vary massively from person to person, the question is do you like your eye like that? You should, It makes you unique, Nobody else will have an eye exactly like yours

A friend of mine has eye coloring that seems purple (but apparently it's brown) with what looks like lightning connecting to the Iris, Amazing, He's an ugly sod but he got the girl because of his eyes

Hi OP in your defence I saw the triangle and yes it took a little looking up close. it's a slightly darker area the shape of a triangle pointed down. Not sure what it means in terms of how that anomaly arise, I know a girl that has one brown and one blue eye, she suffered a change to her eye colour after a tumour on her neck was removed. But I have no idea how that mechanism works.

Enjoy your triangle as long as it does not affect your eyesight it's just something cool

Edit to remove about my ribs. But want to add why is it such a big problem to some that people are different and some are especially special?? Society has really done a good job creating a bundle of joyful people police making sure they step on people just enough that they feel they are no bodies.

Dang it people we are special all of us now what is the problem? This guy has a triangle shape in his eye. And a very beautiful eye at that. He provided images and asked the question does it have any significance. Now I can't see any of you naysayers providing any medical information on the contrary and none of you are denying ignorance. I saw it and I'm surfing from my Android. It was actually cooler than I thought. A big triangle surrounding the pupil. I thought it would be more similar to my "speck of gold" in one of my eyes. Which eye, I won't say for privacy reasons...and plus I don't remember and don't feel like reaching my hand 2 feet over, opening my drawer, and pulling out my convex mirror, and on top of that doing all the complicated mathmatic equations necessary to distinguish left from right, right from left when looking into a mirror...buncha black magic anyway... Supposed to be a mirror image and yet its opposite of what nature intended?!?! You expect me to believe there's nothing fishy goin on with That??? No thank you!

Thanks alot for the support and such. I just thought it was really weird and have tried to research the reason with the exception if finding out it's a birth defect.

But for coolness sake, and just to be "unique" if that's the term used, I have a friend of mine who does tattooing for a living and I am having him do a series of tattoo work on me tonight.

As of right now I have the Comedy / Tragedy masks colored in on my left arm, tonight I am getting 3 tattoos.

The first one is one I've been trying to get for a long time I call it "In Love and War". It's an Angel wing and Demon wing in the shape of a heart with two arms extending out from under the wings on either side clenching swords. Now the swords will be on each other in the shape of a cross. I can't wait to see how he draws it up.

The second tattoo is the chicken I have for an avatar. He's my comic book's main character and I've been drawing him since I was 14. For humors sake, I shall call that piece "The Chicken" lol.

The third tattoo I am getting is the Illuminati symbol with the Triangle with the eye in the middle, but the eye in the middle will have a triangle around the pupil like the one in my left eye. LOL.

Your thoughts?

I think this is the first triangle shape I've seen in someone's eyes. I have seen other, less defined shapes, in a couple of people's eyes. I dated a girl who had a black slash through her iris. It was totally awesome, and the thing that made her stand out to me in the first place. She is the person who noticed my eye anomaly. And also the one who made me realize that, the little things that make us different are what makes us who we are. We should all embrace our inherit flaws as small pieces of ourselves that make us special in our own right. No matter what anyone else say's, we are all special, in one way or another.

I see what you are saying but the triangle is so faint, any marking on the eye would appear darker or lighter than the rest of the eye, and not be extremely faint. Could be from light refraction/ reflection when it hits your eye, causing an illusion like that of a triangle. Looks to me that its just the way your eye looks and that your just trying to pull something from nothing.

I also have a triangle shape in my left eye. Probably just because my father has brown eyes and my mother has blue eyes. But you never know! Some interesting background information: I have type O negative blood. I share a very famous last with an English film maker. That side on my genealogy came to the US on the Mayflower. That side of my genealogy also has always been Roman Catholic. My great grandfather was a 32 degree free mason. (I have all kinds of weird books in some sort of secret code – included a Masonic King James Bible.) However Morals and Dogma was nowhere to be found, so it could be true upon death that book is returned as theorized.

Hey I see im a year behind I was also born with a triangle in my eye but its in my right ...the base is in my iris twards my nose with the tip twards my pupil for years ive been trying to figure out why or if its just a birth mark because everyone's eyes are diffrent my eye drs never said anything to me so I was just wondering if you found out anything??
