The only real terrorists on this spinning ball are the U.S. government and their quasi government off-shoots which are corrupt to the core. Luckily for us though, some members of these groups are incompetent and that's why McKinnon was able to access their systems.

Can I just ask, are you happy about being kept in the dark about secret programs which are being funded by you and your fellow citizens hard earned tax dollars? Basically, do you actually trust your government?

Well maybe nasa should not have a system in place where anyone can gain access. Gary is not a professional hacker, far from it, and what he done, most people could have done with limited computer experience.

Its obvious he is not a bad guy, and its obvious that he was only looking for information on free energy and ufos. Something which i most prob would do if i have the guts, considering the criminals who rule over us, it would not suprise me if they are hiding something that can benefit this planet.

I do find it quite a bit lopsided that the pedophile facing 75 years for molesting 2 eleven year olds and having unlawful intercourse with a 14 year old minor as mentioned in an earlier post in this thread has been afforded protection from extradition to the US by the higher courts of the UK because simply put the US cannot guarantee that if and when convicted the accused would not be forced into a controversial sex offender program that the UK believes would violate the accused rights. His name was Shawn something and his crimes are detailed by a member in a reply on this thread.

Its absolutely absurd that this guy gets to walk free in the UK just because hes married to a women high up in the political infrastructure of their government while Gary McKinnon who has been diagnosed with a rare form of Autisum by many reputable psychiatrists and deemed suicidal is still facing fairly imminent extradition to the US for doing some of the following...

March 2002, using the name 'Solo'.

Deleting critical files
from operating systems, which shut down the
US Army’s Military District of Washington
network of 2,000 computers for 24 hours

Posting a notice on the
military's website: "Your security is crap"

After the September 11 attacks , he deleted
weapons logs at the Earle Naval Weapons
Station , rendering its network of 300
computers inoperable and paralyzing
munitions supply deliveries for the US Navy 's
Atlantic Fleet

McKinnon is also accused of
copying data, account files and passwords
onto his own computer. US authorities claim
the cost of tracking and correcting the
problems he caused was over $ 700,000

McKinnon did admit
leaving a threat on one computer:
US foreign policy is akin to Government-
sponsored terrorism these days … It was
not a mistake that there was a huge
security stand down on September 11
last year … I am SOLO. I will continue to
disrupt at the highest levels …

US authorities claim that McKinnon is trying to downplay his own actions. A senior military officer at the Pentagon told The Sunday Telegraph: "US policy is to fight these attacks as strongly as possible. As a result of Mr McKinnon's actions, we suffered serious damage. This was not some harmless incident. He did very serious and deliberate damage to military and Nasa computers and left silly and anti-America messages. All the evidence was that someone was staging a very serious attack on US computer systems.

First off,this fool is not a UFO hacker,much less even a hacker.

I think he was very stupid, and kept playing games till he was caught..

I suppose some of you think the individual who ends up with a few million in there bank account accidently,they should get to keep or spend it.

A hero fan club for him will not make him more happy while he sits in prison.

He was a real hacker compared to this case.
He was messing around with goverment computers for a good 2 months.

Yes, gary was a fool taking it too far. He sould have just looked,
and left it at that, whithout leaving the messages. But, because
he is not a hacker, i dont think he knew that it would be traced
back to him. As for hackers trying to find information that the
governments might be hiding, then i say good luck to them!

These criminals just care about themselves, not the people of
their country, and it would not suprise me in the slightest that
governments are holding secrets that could benefit this planet,
but they are too busy starting pointless wars and bleeding this
planet dry. These people are the ones that need to go on trial
because of their crimes.

Anyone been following these new developments? It looks like after all these years a resolve is in sight. It appears mr. McKinnon is going to be granted a reprieve. At least thats what I have gleaned from the forthcoming information.
