Just to throw a random thought out there, but how many people think this should be a yearly ATS sanctioned event?

Honestly, this took off from nothing, and caught the staff by surprise. I think it caught all of us by surprise. I didn't expect myself to have the interest, but given the OP, I got captivated.

What if ATS developed a "title" for a member, and had yearly elections? Of course, this "experiment" was because it's an election year, but I see no reason not to expand upon the concept. Make it open to all membership, and have a set of "rules" to follow during the election process.

Another random thought would be to make the title "Exemplary Member" status. I'm bad with words, but the gist is to have a "title" for a member that shines through, and to "reward" them by letting them win the status. Think about it, members would wait to compete and it would increase the quality of posting. I have a big imagination, and I'm only tossing out ideas.

This thread is open til Wednesday, so now is the time to get your thoughts in. Yearly event sponsored by ATS? Yay or Nay? Thoughts?

We don't have the choice, it's management, but they are interactive. They may pick the best qualities out of this "experiment", and refine them, and make it an ATS Contest/Game. Plant seeds, plant seeds, said Johnny Appleseed.

Yah, it's sad to see this wind down. I had so much fun, met other members, and got to lurk on their threads. That kept me busy for a while, as I managed to lurk every thread related to this election. It's all gone.

Poor Chiten! He's only 2 months old, and he has over 3000 posts. He has more posts than I, and I've been here over a year. He'll have the worse time adapting, because he threw his lil' heart into it 100%, and now we need to wander back to our normal business.

I spent the afternoon on myATS deleting all the threads out of my favorite list relating to the ATS election. The reality really set in, at that point, as I moved my mouse over the red "X" and left clicked it. I did that MANY times. There were a lot of threads that I had subscribed to. (In fact, intrepid, I can feel your pain. You had to close them all, I had to delete them all.) Yes, I followed this election very closely.

It's gone, it's past, and we have a fictional Regent who really earned the position. I, for one, am Proud of our choice!

....I can give ya some hints on where to look for the keys, afterall, the election took a sudden turn from what I saw in my time jump....not Neno of course, the perpetrator didn't know he was going to do so well and didn't have the time-altercation experience to make it work right .... I think I know where they are!!!
