Well, my 22-year-old nephew was just recently in a car accident (as 22-year-old boys are prone to do), and had to go to the hospital for treatment of
his injuries. Good thing he had health insurance, as he certainly couldn't have afforded the hospital bills on his own.
And it's a good thing this new healthcare bill allows the 22-year-old to be on his parent's insurance until he's 26. It's also a good thing that if
the 22-year-old's salary is at the poverty level, healthcare insurance will be provided to him, free of charge.
