Well, the first release of Good Rocking Tonight was in June 1947, and we all know that was followed by a major UFO flap. That was classified as "jump
blues," predating Billboard Magazine's 1948 coinage of the term "rhythm and blues," as well as the later terms "rock music" and "rock 'n'
roll." Regardless, maybe wars and atomic bombs aren't the only top attraction. Maybe the correlation between UFO sightings and rock concerts is
attributable to large turnout, but then again, maybe music is part of the attraction. If so, what does that say about aliens and emotions? Maybe their
attitude is, “I know it’s only rock ‘n’ roll, but I like it!”
