Nobel for 'kiss of death' DNA work

Two Isreali scientists and 1 American scientist have been award the 2004 Nobel prize for chemistry. Their work in the 80's discovered that cells actually give a "kiss of death" to protiens that must be destroyed.

Amazing work, hope it leads to the cure. If only the world would focus on the war on disease, just think how far ahead we would be. Spend half the money on research and not war and what could we cure.
