so i read around different threads about illegals fast and furious and our failing economy.

I got a theory remember the North American Union crap lets say u let Ur economy collapse so u can take up new cerencey with two other country's let people from the one of the less favorable country flood in without problems from feds
give the cartel guns let things get really bad there and make it look like we need to annex them to make things better
seems like a good way to per sway the American sheeple to me

Dude, WTF are you talking about?

Not trying to be an a$$, but I have no idea what you are trying to explain.

Cheers!

I was able to extract from this coded cryptic message that we are destablizing mexico on purpose to legitimize a future invasion and annexation of their government for a north american union

Are you nuts?

Annexing Mexico will not help! Sure let all those drug cartels waltz right in here. Yea great idea.

Mexico needs to handle their own problems. We are not here to save every country that can't fend for themselves. We will be just fine without Mexico...How in the world do you think annexing Mexico would help us?!?!

We also need to stop letting the Mexican border be so open! It's much easier to get in and out of Mexico than it is Canada for heavens sake and Canada doesn't have crime like Mexico!

The title of the post is the issue of my reply. We should not make the border farther away than it is. The main reason is those that wish to escape but do not have the resources to do so do not have to travel as far as if they would if annexation occurs.

I have often thought that annexing mexico would make sense.

First, it automatically rids the problem with immigration from Mexico...legal and otherwise. It also takes care of all the money sent back by the working immigrants as then it would stay in the US. Further, the standard of living would rise with a consistant minimum wage down south. Plus, all those factories that left for mexico would then be back in the USA.

Secondly, the tourist industry there would boom as no further need for Passports.. Port of Entry... all that nasty paperwork and preparation... and you could actually drive there with no border checks...cool.

Third, look at all the vast natural resources...oil in particular. Then land and minerals... fruits and bananas and pineapples... and all those tomatoes... no longer would the US have to deal with price fluctuations from a late frost in Florida.

Fourth... build another Pacific- Atlantic Canal...aka Panama Canal...but this time call it the Yucatan Canal. And the US runs it and keeps it this time. How's that for "shovel ready jobs?"

Fifth, move NASA firther south and closer to the equator... all that open land and near equator...almost a perfect setting for space exploration to launch from... again.. mucho mass "shovel ready jobs."

Just think... the USA would have a strangle hold on the Gulf of Mexico strategically, plus all that extended Pacific Coast line for new naval bases and sea side resorts...and we could reclaim all of the ex-patriots and their taxes...

Annexing Mexico would be a win/win for all involved...I have been to mexico...into the deepest jungles and poorest villages. The people are incredibly friendly and generous and poor. There are not too many cities of 35,000 people where at 11pm at night you can walk the streets and alleyways and feel perfectly safe and no gunshots...did so in Tizimin, Mexico. Our group and a couple others totaled about 25... and we were the only Yankee Gringos in Tizimin... stood out like a sore thumb, but after about 8 days... even we became part of the daily routine and people just got over us being there.

It is also amazing how quickly you pick up the language when you live it daily... it wasn't long before we were mixing english and spanish together in the same sentence and even replying in espanol, mes amigos. The food was good too, but after 8 days eating at the Epollo Brujo...the chicken Wizard... it was about 6 months in America before my wife and I went out for Mexican food...although what we know as Mexican Food and what is real mexican Food is so very different.... even now, the smell of diced habaneros in lime juice makes me cringe.

Would you feel the same, "per sway [sic]," if Alamaba were to be the annexed territory by the Mexican government?

You might have a point there. In fact, Ron White takes it a bit further. When I go to the polls in November, this man will be at the top of my list.

Please be aware that this video contains some coarse language. I apologize, but it's the only one I could find with this particular bit in it. If cursing offends you, please don't watch.

I am not sure that the minimum wage will then be applicable to annexed portion and thus the SOS issue with high labor rate which is one of the factors besides several others that killed the manufacturing in US.

Education system will require to be revamped in the annex portion which will not be accepted that easily by the already residing residents of that territory.

Just a couple of things that popped up in the head as a knee jerk reaction to your comments.
