The kicker is the surgury is so sensitive it only has a survivability rate of about 75%...so 1 out of 4 die simply from the surgury alone.

B: She can decline treatment, and she will eventually become completely paralized, and at one point it will take her life.

She attended a cyropractor she was refered to yesterday, and after doing a reflex test he determined she is already losing her right leg as well and will no longer treat her for fear of making the condition worse.

Her regular doc has also started pushing her for disability, and sent a letter stating she cannot work for a minimum of a year.

Mind you, she isn't even 30 years old yet.

Now, the thing that I am absolutly enraged about is not a single doctor addressed her complaint up till now, and had they caught it early she wouldn't be nearly as bad off. It is taking everything in me to not take a trip down and give a size 10 peice of my mind to the last Dr. @$$hole that pushed anxiety meds on her and kicked her out the door.

If I loose my wife to negligence of our B.S. medical system I honestly don't know what I'm going to do. She is the love of my life, and in all fairness our lives together should be only just starting, not ending...

So I need some help guys, and I have no where else to turn. If I thought we could sue the hell outta the idiots that brushed her off for so many years we would, but it would take suing damn near the whole system because its been so many docs that turned her away up till now.

Any advice?

Honestly it seems your decision is thus, risky surgery that will allow her a norm life until she dies within the next several years. Or a longer life of lower quality. Only you and her can make that decision together.

Have a Lyme Disease Blood Screening performed.
It usually requires more than one course of Doxycycline of Ceftin to knock it out.
In some cases, intervenous anti-biotic is required.

find a medical professional, md/rn etc, who will administer you IV chelation

i saw a very similar case that is now, after some 6 months of iv chelation (they call it nicely: anti aging doctors) up and running after he went to the first iv in a wheelchair - totally helpless...

It has to her decision..but I would go for the operation. Medical knowledge is developing rapidly and treatment may be very effective.
I am so angry with all the terrible treatment she was subjected to from doctors and hospitals. I think they should be informed so they treat other patients differently.

This sounds a bit like "cluster headaches" arising from a damaged nerve and/or bones from an old injury or bad growth. The area of the initial problem can cause many side effects.

A friend of mine has suffered from this for years and has just had injections into the area of his back that was the problem allowing the tissue and vertebrae to settle down. No headaches so far (when they were due) and he has most of his mobility back.

The other option was a full scale operation that had a chance of permenant and irreversable further damage.

Do a little research on the symptoms and get a second, third opinion, or as many as it takes to get the attention she needs.

This has to be very difficult for you both.

I'd go with the medical route If I were you.
Use faith or so called miracle cures as a supplement not an alternative.
God appears to have selective hearing. The miracle cures are all about making money and they prey on the disadvantaged. Which is unfortunate. They usually zoom in on the the ailing persons loved ones, which in this case is you, the one seeking help

I don't really know what else to suggest.
And yes its very true that quality of life is more important.
That's dependent on each individual and what does quality mean to them. It tends to be taken for granted and not really understood until it's reduced.

You should always get second and even third opinions in serious cases like this, and It is serious.

I shall request the Prayer Chain at New Bethel hold your wife in their prayers. New Bethel is a Christian Congregation, they do invoke the "Blood of The Lamb" in their prayers for healing. It never hurts to have people pray, even for we who are "different", it is nice to have others give a rip for folks.

You have not only been mis-served by the Physicians who follow the way of the Caduseus, you have been abused.
You have been shunted into the "another nurotic woman" list.
This is something that many clinicians today do, surprisingly even many female doctors think that the natural situation of the American married woman is depressed or at least a hypochondriac.
It's as if it isn't an OBGYN problem, a wife needs the care of a psychologist, but they'll all write prescriptions for whichever pain relievers and anti-depressants the reps are offering the best incentives (trips to Hawaii, cruises, ect) to prescribe their stuff, in case she likes getting stoned on pills and vegging out watching soaps(do people still watch those?).
Unless she has the flu, or some easy to spot illness, like measles or chicken pox, there is very little chance of her getting a clinician who has not seen her before to bother with taking her complaints seriously.
The best policy is to have a nearby family Dr. who knows you as people, not just another billing, and is quick to set up referrals to specialists. An interesting aside; if a Dr. FINALLY does the right thing by way of referral, your wife will be much better cared for, after all, another god-like Dr. has given you the courtesy of an introduction, congratulations, your wife has now achieved personhood in the Dr's eyes.
The family Dr. idea is for later, right now you need to get your wife to the best surgical team available.
I suggest you act without delay, her situation is still completely reversable, but as you mentioned, her spinal fluid is having problems with circulation, and it will only grow worse with time.
I cannot urge you strongly enough, seek out the best available, be certain the specialist you consult is experienced with this surgery and is comfortable working on removing a cyst in the area where your wife has the restriction.
My Uncle is an Orthopedic Surgeon, I have seen him deal with many situations and can tell you that you need to ask to have a top notch Anesthesiologist on the team.In removing bulging disc material through Papayan injection,the Anestheseologist may offer a better solution than having discs fused, and he knows the spinal process better than you'd think possible. I don't think that cyst has to come back if properly treated.

Adjustments won't help a cyst, if anything it cause worse paralysis. If there is a cyst pushing or on the spinal chord then the only possible cure on this planet is surgery. Prayer is the ultimate healer.
How is suing doctors helping her right now? That can wait>>>>> lets get her fixed first.
Chiropractors are great but there is a limit even for them. A great chiropractor won't adjust a patient with a cyst on the spine causing this amount of neuropathy......that would be stupid and grounds for a malpractice lawsuit.

One small detail it is a cyst on the spinal chord not a disc bulge so the injections won't work..
Follow my advise go to 3 ortho's and 3 neuro's and take the advice of the one you trust the most.

The cyst has to be removed. If the chances are great, that she will be fine, then its worth it. I couldn't think of a natural way of ridding it, and I don't like surgery either.

A little more clairification on this, as I am medically ignorant and didn't understand everything in my inital post, I apologize...

I talked to my wife about it again last night, and I guess its not actually a cyst...its what's called a psudo-cyst?(hope that's right) that happens from the blockage of the spinal fluid. When the fluid collects it creates an outer casing around the fluid that resembles a cyst.

From what I understand, that's where the problem comes. If it were just a normal cyst, removing it with surgery would not be a problem...but if it is done incorrectly, the now septic spinal fluid could be released into her bloodstream.

It sounds like its not removing it that's difficult, its keeping the backed up spinal fluid from poisoning her in the process that's difficult.

Cysts and tumors form in the body when the immune system can't kick out the process. So we must raise the immunity quickly by changing what the body has to work with... with proper nutrients, vitamins and supplements things can turn around and begin to heal the system. Mostly this can be done by a plant-based, whole food diet. I'd get a hold of the book *The China Study* by T. Colin Campbell and read that immediately if you want answers to help with this process.
