At least Israel is using precision strikes to target those launching the missles. Kind of sad Hamas will deliberately use their own people as human shields however.

West Bank does not launch missles and live in relative prosperity.

For days the Israelis have been the victims of rocket and mortar attacks coming from Gaza, and this is nothing more than a response to an immediate threat. Before Cast Lead was launched, the Israelis suffered over EIGHT THOUSAND attacks over the year before that defensive operation was launched to root out terrorists. That's 7,999 more than I would have put up with.

So excuuuuuse me if I don't shed any tears for these assholes. The Palestinians are bringing all of this on themselves.

The only tears I shed are for the Palestinian children, whose parents routinely strap bombs to their chests to kill other, Jewish, children.

I think the rockets were retaliation for earlier airstrikes by Israel.

Sorry, but this will only let me give you one star!!!!! Israel is very tolerant to being attacked in my opinion. One rocket being launched at me and I would be ready to fight. If they want to continue to pick a fight with Israel, I don't feel sorry for them. The people of Gaza should stand up and demand no more rockets to be launched at Israel.

Israel also gave back areas they had control over in Egypt's northern oil fields and areas in Jordan that they could have "expanded" their empire with, but they didn't.

Today, Arab Palestine is masked by names like Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, but people think all of Arab Palestine have been pushed in to Gaza by the Jews...lol

The people in Gaza and West Bank are refugees from Jordan and Egypt that the Arab world does not lift a finger for, and never have even when those areas were under Arab control, but I guess we can blame it all on the Jews...

With the whole area being Arab and Israel with 8000 sq miles of it (Texas is 33 times larger than Israel) why is it so unreasonable for them to have and keep what they fought for and have been living in for 3000 years too.

My point is the Jews have 8000 sq miles of a land that they have been in for 3000 years... the Arabs have millions of sq miles in the same area, but for some reason they need an extra 6 by 25 mile strip of land for a Arab Palestine state when before the Brits and French split it all up there was a million sq miles of Arab Palestine land...

That is the thing here...what Israel did is no different than what 100 other countries have done, Israel could have easily expanded further into the oil fields of Jordan and Egypt and made a much bigger country. Israel could have pushed all living in Gaza strip into Egypt too and the same for the West Bank into Jordan and let those countries deal with it.

One thing to think about...when the local Government is like Hamas who is driven with the desire of the total destruction of Israel it is kind of hard to work with them. How is it that so many Christians, Jews and Muslins get along peacefully in Israel? I think that as long as a Governing body doesn't live the "wipe Israel off the map" ideal then Israel really doesn't have an issue.

Gaza terrorists have been raining missiles on Israels south for the past 3 days, HUNDREDS of missiles, injuring a few and damaging infrastructure.

Israel has not asked for Hamas to start launching missiles. They DO SO BECAUSE they know ignorant hate-filled westerners will ignore the provocation and demonize Israel for their response.
