It's a bit surprising to read the comments on the official barackobama.com link about this Obama event registry ridiculousness. It's almost all anti-Obama comments and anything positive about him gets thumbed down. Over the last year or so I've noticed this same trend in the comments sections even on left leaning media sites like huffington post, LA times, etc.

I really don't think that he'll be able to get the same turnout again and be able to hold on to the presidency...Also, if Romney was in fact at Bilderberg 2012 like some claim then I truly think his days are numbered. (Not that a win for Romney would be reason to rejoice, of course)

So let's say it's my birthday party and I know all of my friends are voting for Obama, I think this would be a great idea instead of getting another useless gift that will just go into the closet never to see the light of day again.

I seriously doubt this was aimed at Republicans or Conservatives hence why it was posted on Obama's page.

no he is allowed donations. That is not the issue. I doubt that by asking, we will magically have more money that we can give him.

But hey if he was not capable of doing anything before, then what will be different this time around?

He has not done what he could, why would we worry about what he cannot.

Under his watch allot of laws and regulations have been made and passed that royally screw his people, so yeah ask them for money after you violate every bit of trust placed in you....sure.

Not like you were any better than bush. But heck, what does that matter. You can just say its partisan BS and then go to bed with all of them. Like they aren't the same exact people. Interchangeable and full of vested interests.
