Anyone who has an alternative viewpoint to Ron Paul who makes a comment is labelled a shill or disinfo agent. I was labelled a shill today for simply defending the health service in my country.

Ahh but anyone who says "why all this partisan bickering" is automatically a "paulite"

I see, carry on, now we all know the rules. and for the record, even though I use it and probably did here, calling people a "shill" instead of debating isn't helping anything either.

I get called a shill and a disinfo agent all the time. In fact, since it's happening here at ATS, I consider it a badge of honor.

How am I a troll? Because you don't like the topic I want to discuss. In this case Mitt Romney?

I post threads about Mitt Romney, because frankly no one else does, unless it's negative...My thread are neither negative or positive, they just ask questions.

And in fact, the responses I get from those threads are very very telling! The questions I raise always piss people off so there is that. But that doesn't make me a troll. That is just bringing out truth.

Phishy, he's just a partisan hack who came here to troll this thread because he was getting owned on his other pro-Romney thread. Honestly, it's best just to ignore him. He'll go back under the bridge eventually if we do.

Ive seen his posts and I agree with you.

HAHAHAHAHA. Wrong. I have posted many topics. So because I've only been here 11 days I have to fall in line and be quiet? Pfft. You wish.

Nice attempt at an ad hominem. Wrong. I live in America, born and raised. But you keep trying to put out disinformation about people. It won't shut down the message. I suppose then EVERYONE on this page and in this country who is anti the two party system are foreigners? LMAO. The ignorance.

"troll elsewhere"??....you are the one that has signed onto this site just 11 days ago, and has done nothing but "troll".... so....what do you want?? anarchy? dictator? king?.....my opinion is that you are from another country, and/or are actively trying to destroy our system of government, by claiming our government is all corruption, all the time. frankly, for me, you people are just void of sound and workable ideas.

How exactly is he claiming the government is all corruption all the time, and how exactly is that destroying your government?

Did you vote in the last election?

Maybe I'm confused, cause I read the op, and it seems to be that he wants people to discuss this stuff without resorting to candidate flag waving BS. That's a pipe dream at ATS of course, but a rather reasonable one I'd think.

what is your solution? "Trust" them to do the right thing with no oversight?

Hell, another poster actually said a third party won't work so don't bother!

Oh please! There are so many pro-Romney threads on this site. And there are just as many, if not more, anti-Obama ones. Please save playing the victim card for someone else.

No, your questions are leading questions, the result of spoon-fed partisan propaganda. There's a whole world that exists outside of your box. You should try it some time.

I've been tired of partisan shills for years before I even knew of ATS. They all say the same thing: "MY GUY RULES, YOUR GUY DROOLS".

A real debate or a discussion does none of this. You can not have a real discussion with shill because they will only hype the good, ignore or dismiss or downplay the bad, and always try to take credit for good work some other guy's done.

Ron Paul bots included.

Basically, politics is too much like a cult for my tastes, with few people actually thinking for themselves and not trying to look for all facts regarding an issue, good or bad.

a simple question :

do you recognise the presence of ` ron paul partisan shills ` on ATS ?

yes or no will suffice

I'm not baiting. I'm using the ranting forum for its intended purpose: to rant. If anything he baited me by trying to claim I'm a Ron Paul supporter.

Did you even read the first post you made in here? That, my friend, is websters dictionary classic trolling. THat said, from that post on, you are actually engaging in a conversation that has something to do with the thread, troll? Hmm, not so sure.

But again, go read your first post in here and try to justify that against the T&C and the thread topic.

Remember, when you assume you make an "ass" out of "u" and "me", and you did just that, assumed the OP was a Paul supporter trying to stifle the Romney supporters.

your question was answered, of course Paul counts. This isn't about candidates, it's about the partisan bickering and wasted threads, lets discuss that shall we?

Did you read the OP? He made no distinctions between parties or candidates. That means, defacto, Ron Paul counts. Hell, you'd have to be blind and deaf to not notice the insane amount of Ron Paul threads being posted.

some of it is entertaining, as you have die hard Paul shills trying to argue with die hard Romney shills, it's amazing, sad, and entertaining.

But, for the last time, the OP didn't make this about Romney or Paul, it's about "Partisan shills using ATS forum as a campaign site for their candidate of choice"

Why is that so hard to understand?

Like I said, I'd support him if I was an American, but I sure as hell am sick of the constant stream of shillish threads in his name, and the downward spiral they take when the anti paul crowd shows up.

Want a perfect example of what the OP is talking about? Read this thread start to finish, if it doesn't smack you in the face with a large trout, you are a lost cause.

You see so many pro-Romney (and even some pro-Obama) posts, or comment sections of threads filled with people defending one or the other as if they weren't the same candidate.

What say you, ATSers? Are you sick of the partisan hacks? Or are you one who wants to defend their position?

I think your signature says it all.

Couldn't agree more. We have no real choice and as soon as people begin to realize that instead of getting worked into a tizzy over hatred and religious bs, the better off our country will be.

There will come a day when we get rid of this corporatist blight.

Really? point out all the mitt romney threads, not made by me, that are not in the political forum.

So anyone who is anti-obama is pro-romney?

What questions of mine are leading? What the heck is a leading question anyway?

BTW, just by making this thread you have attracted what you call partisan shills

Your not going to be able to hide forever! All of politics is partisan.

Yay! That's a good partisan hack! Believe the lie that nothing more than the two-party system will ever happen. Buy into their propaganda. Good little sheep. Your corporate masters applaud you. I suppose you believe that the country has always been governed by Dems and Pubs?

Yep. Call me a hack.. Thats your defense I see. I am not a hack. I am a citizen and while I do not believe nor care if it has always been Dems and Republicans it still needs to be a two party system for there to be a sitting president that garnered more than half of the popular vote. Now with that said we dont have a two party system. I see no where in the constitution or the laws of this country that says it is a two party system. It is a two party system because that is how the cookie crumbled and that is how you can mostly ensure that your sitting POTUS has the support or in theory should have the support of over half the nation. We have had plenty of third party candidates over the years. They just dont get enough support and the only support they do get is from republican voters so in short they typically help the democratic candidate. If you cant see that then your looking in the wrong places. But rather than sit on this board and call us all out for supporting one or the other why not tell us who your supporting? Its easy to throw stones when your invisible.

Nope. Never made that claim. Yet another strawman. I am anti-Obama and I'm not pro-Romney.

Almost every question you ask is leading. You ask them with the express purpose of leading people to your pro-Romney position. You frame your questions in a way that are partisan and designed to be pro-Romney.

Oh I'm sure it would. Partisan trolls aren't the most mature and they can't handle being called out. I think it's funny though that you try to make my thread the problem. Like "Well you posted it so you can't complain that we showed up." Sure, I can. It's called grow up. Just because you see something like this doesn't mean you have to reply. There are TONS of threads I see on a daily basis that I don't agree with. 99% of them I don't even comment on. The ones that I do, the majority of the time I merely express my viewpoint and then leave the thread. I'd rather weigh in on threads/subjects that I agree with. I care more about discussion than debate.

Not trying to hide. Hiding implies I'm afraid or something. And no not all of politics is partisan.

Tardis,
It does not "need" to be a two-party system. You are seriously so inundated. Popular vote is popular vote. It doesn't need to be more than half the popular vote. If three candidates run and 2 of them each get 33% and one gets 34% then he has achieved the majority of the vote.

And I have not thrown my support behind anyone. Not sure if I will. No one has stood out to me. I won't support someone "just because." I have principles.

And jjf3rd77, you think you are not a troll? Well it appears that on at least one occasion ATS has ruled otherwise.
