This was nothing but a dream... one should pay careful attention to these two statements:

and drifted off to sleep
*attempted alien abduction occurs*

and I woke up

Furthermore, nothing about this experience contained descriptions typical of an abduction scenario. Aliens simply do not "grab you by the arm" and drag you away... there is always a levitating experience which lacks any physical contact and often experiences of floating through walls.

This was a dream and nothing more...

Holy seriousness, you are serious.

It's worth looking into, and very well could be the boogie man that these types claim. But as a christian, I find that too many obsess with this angle--even if it is true. Sort of a: If you build it, THEY will come moment. No reason to build on it in the first place if its: 1. hallucination, 2. demon. But humans are curious, and don't learn to let go of things easily.

That aside, if many or most are influenced by Christ's name, it by no means means that all of them are this vile thing. But even if only 1 was a real demon, I'd lose interest in Aliens altogether--it's asking for NEEDING something more powerful than it.

Yeah, more a caution than anything else.

Thank you. And It was my fault. I used the word "looked" implying a visual.

I really hadn't considered your wording a fault as I understood what you meant. I really posted that to support you and to help explain it to others.

Archangel Michael is the defender of the faith, the sponsor of Policemen, and even the Pope was given a special prayer to him.

Here is a rosary to St. Michael

www.wikihow.com...

Just a note about St. Michael

Archangel Michael is said to be the highest of the Archangelic Host.. With Gabriel, Michael is the only angel mentioned in the Bible. In the Aggadah, he is seen as the guardian of Israel. He is the head of all the great warring angels who do battle against evil and against that which takes people away from their path of Unity to God. He is therefore depicted as a warrior with large and powerful wings as well as a flaming sword, and sometimes pictured with a spear as well. Associated with justice and balance, he is often shown holding the scales of justice.

Michael is the protection Archangel, patron of policemen and bringer of the gift of patience. Angel of careers, courage, achievements, ambitions, motivation, and life tasks. He is the great prince charged to defend the people.

And remember he fought Lucifer and his band who were cast out of heaven.

Always someone calling another person mentally unstable. I doubt you have a license to practice psychiatry as well. And naturally you hate the Bible.

Did it never occur to you that someone with that kind of belief would also have enough will to overcome the domination of an interdimensional being?

"super profundo on the early eve of your day!" -lewis "recurring dream character"

the angels/aliens in your dream were discussing whether to rip you out of your body and wake you up, or to let you do it yourself naturally..

looks like they had faith in you to do it naturally.

dreams are your brain's "defrag" process.. they are where your interniverse organises it's data..

listen to them, and use them to wake yourself up, my good chum!

Have you looked into Carl Jung? I do not know much, but he talks about how there are certain archetypes of human consciousness related to mythological experiences, and these experiences can come through dream. I think it just a dream, but it had an underlying mythological/spiritual theme covered in your modern ideas. That is to say, it came from that spiritual ground of your "soul" (whatever you want to call it), and was manifested in the form of aliens, or what I like to think of as modern "angels" and "demons."

I don't know if that makes sense, and I butchered Jung's ideas, but just a thought.

Honestly, my initial impression about this post was some kind of new Christian conversion technique for the really weak minded alien fearers. But, why go with worst case scenario, right?

Belief in Christianity is a form of dementia. I don't have be a psychiatrist to tell you that. It's all about belief and faith in a book that was commissioned by the Roman Emperor Constantine. The stories of the bible were VOTED ON by the politicians and various priests of the time. It's NOT the word of God. It's the word of Man. What angers me is the degree of delusion that Christians sink to, and the ensuing destruction of reason and critical thinking. So no, I don't hate the Bible... there's a lot of very entertaining stories in it. But I do have plenty of contempt for people, such as yourself, who waste the unique human ability of critical thinking and live by a book that contains at least as much fiction as the combined Harry Potter series.

Also, who the hell said anything about an interdimensional being? Are you some sort of expert on the origins of aliens? I've read the Bible, including the parts that your Church deemed unworthy of being included, and there are plenty of mentions of aliens. But I don't recall any mention of them being interdimensional, though I admit it is a possibility.

As far as I'm concerned, you and the rest of the Christians, Muslims, and Jews who live in fairy-tale realities dictated by "holy" books are wastes of human existence. This world will surely be better off once your kind dies out and the artificial social control structure that is religion crumbles in favor of reason.

Yep, sounds like a dream. I had a similar experience when I was really sick with fever and had slept on a couch in my buddy's basement for two days. I woke up and something like a hand was grasping me from inside the couch and I was/felt fully awake. Thing is, I wasn't. The mind can produce some pretty crazy and vivid imagined memories. I do believe in abduction but yours is pretty prosaic as to suggest simple dreamt hallucination. Chances are that an advanced intelligence isn't likely to clutter their goings-on with crude physical altercations with unruly abductees. Seems like they'd zap you with the chloroform beam before having to summon their bodyguards.

Pipe down Kiwi... The difference between science an organized religion is a matter of tangible evidence. Science is based on rational thought, peer-reviewed process, evidence, an repeatability. Organized religion is based on blind faith in holy books and medieval dogma. It is an artificial, man-made control structure and has not done a single good thing for this world, or the sheep who blindly follow its mandates.

If one considers belief in the review and reproduction of observations in controlled experiments in order to gain facts about the nature of reality a mental disorder, there is no way to attempt to convince them otherwise since they do not believe in evidence.

The difference between science and religion is that science lead to that computer (or whatever) you are using now. Western religion as lead to, well, the current state of the world.

I don't know if what you perceived is actual or not, but if so, it looks like our friends (or not?) from above are as favorable towards jesus freaks as myself. I know me personally can't be within 20 feet of someone screaming about god or jesus or whatever. I suppose now you will never pipe down about how 'jesus saves' to your fellow christianites. I only partially apologize for my snide language because honestly I believe that anyone who takes the bible as a literal document has as much credibility as a 5 year old, but I don't know you and maybe I am out of line. I do believe in aliens and abductions very much, and am interested in that part of your story. I have never heard of the coloring differences you describe.

LOL the part of the story where the alien is angered and disgusted about her invocation of Christ was the only part I really believed
