I don't know how anyone could take this case seriously. By all means, investigate reports of victims of sexual assault, but they're calling it
"surprise sex", or sex without a condom. It's not "rape", it's an entirely different matter considering they had previously already had sex, and
the "surprise" bit came about when they were sleeping in bed naked.
Obviously not a rape. But that doesn't matter, does it.. ? Because they hit him with the "taboo card", as long as it infers to rape then the damage
is done. They really are going after him for this... INTERPOL.. house arrest, daily check-ins and strict bail conditions..
Yet it took how many years for Roman Polanski to get pinched, for literally drugging, raping and sodomizing a minor? He got "house arrest" in his
chalet in the Swiss Alps.. That was the most recent, high-profile case of similar circumstances.
Though to be fair, Polanski's case runs even deeper in conspiracy than Assange's.
