Christianity? Did it really start with jesus?

Alright for one this is my first thread s o I wanna make it good.
You might think "noo I think it started with Jesus so you crazy"
But hear me out. I thought about this after I read the story of Thor. How he came from Asgard to earth.
We all know that norse is way before the time Of jesus. So ok Thor came downfrom the sky and landed on earth. alright so led me to thinking ok it's just like Jesus how he came from heaven to stop our sins. So Odin is god ok. Now we have Loki who worn a horned helmet like he usually does. Think of him as the devil. Is this starting to make sense? There was never Christianity!!! The story of Thor isjust how it went down in the Jesus story except he didn't die he left earth differently the way Jesus did! It's like the apocalypse past already!!! This is one step to proving the existence of aliens If this is correct. COMMENT AWAY!!!

Yeah, I agree with the poster above.
There are similarities between the story of Christ and other religious or mythological texts, but there are pretty simple reasons for this. A Messiah was promised immediately after the fall (cf Genesis 3), and was known to Adam and his children. There are hints throughout the Bible that show that the ancients knew who to expect. There are also "types" that indicate key truths about who the Messiah would be (cf the story of Joseph, for example, the lamb as a substitute in the story of Abraham, the blood on the lentils in the Exodus story, and so on).

These truths would have been known throughout all of Adam's descendants, it is logical to think that some of this would be retained in other mythologies. Other religions are not devoid of some truth: Christianity doesn't have a monopoly on what the truth is. The difference is that God the Father only offered ONE way, and that way was Christ. As Jesus Himself said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the Father except through me".

There are authors out there, more learned than I am, who have found hints of a prefigured Christ in hinduism, for example, and in Islam, and in other world religions. This is, in part, what Paul talks about in the book of Romans. There are truths that may be known about God outside of the Bible, outside of Christianity itself; but the difference between Christ and religion is that in religion, man seeks God, desperately trying to attain to the level God demands (and failing miserably). In Christ, it is God who seeks man. Jesus came "to seek and to save that which was lost".

I could ramble forever, but I won't.
Suffice to say that... yes, Christianity did start with Jesus. Or, more specifically, it started with God the Father in Genesis 3, when the coming of Christ was first prophesied... long before Thor, or Odin, or any other religion.

Yes. Christianity started with Jesus as in the name Jesus Christ.

Thor is no where near the same status as Jesus. Thor is actually Semihazah, one of the primary fallen watchers. Thor also went by the name Shemyazaz, Sêmîazâz, Semjâzâ, Samjâzâ, Shemyaza, and Shemhazai.

Note: in Hebrew: shem + ya'ah + aza equals "of the Name of power".

Note Thor's main weapon was lightning. The same weapon as used by Zeus in Greek mythology.

As for Odin, he is Oz also known as Azazel, Uzazel, Uzza.

Oh, btw, Thor didn't leave this world on his own accord. He was actually imprisoned by YHWH in Tartarus for 4000 years hanging upside down chained by his feet to a dark cave ceiling with a bottomless pit about a foot away from his head.

Well it's not called Christianity for peanuts! They never named the religion after Jesus' pet dog, Spot.

But all in all it's just a perversion of the original belief that was created to bend the will of men to the wants of those who desired power.

Christianity? Yes. The ideas behind Christianity? No. The tenets of Christianity are sprinkled liberally throughout cultures and belief systems much older. Christianity is just the newest incarnation of those ideas.

Christianity originated as a splinter sect of judaism. The truth is all those other religions were just corruptions of what YHWH created and when the Fallen Ones came, people worshipped them and accepted them as "gods" which is where the first commandment "I AM YHWH you shall have no other elohim before Me" or another translation as "I AM Elohim, you shall have no other elohim before me" or the modern english rendition "I AM the LORD your God, you shall have no other gods before me".

That and they were making little statues out of clay and metals like gold or silver to worship and carry around with them which YHWH really didn't like.

The truth is yes all those ancient religions have little grains of truth in them, but surrounded in huge ass lies because thats how Satan works, he uses serpent language to fool people into going down the wrong road. It's like having 6 doors in front of you, one door leads to the truth and eternal life, the other 5 doors lead to ugly parodies that lead to eternal death and each door has a gaurdian standing before it telling you it's own story, but you have to choose which door to walk through.

But the spirit of Jesus was with His creation often in the garden of Eden. It was the spirit of Jesus who spoke to Moses in the burning bush (this is WAY before the Norse). It is the story of Jesus' resurrection that can be proven historically (based on all the independent evidence gathered) that Jesus is not only a mythological figure that Luci has tried to counterfeit in so many other iterations but that he is actually real and is God (a part of the trinitarian Godhead anyway).

This is a menorah structure.
The 3 words before the 4'th word and the 3 words after all point to the servant lamp that was the active part of Creation, the Logos.
Yeshua is the basis of all the poser religions and poser gods that came after the act of Creation where Hayah spoke (Logos) all into existance. The Logos is the action part where all matter gained form. What you are addressing is the amazing part, where the Logos set aside His divinity and walked among the creation in a body of flesh. The light walked among the darkness.

Part of the NWO agenda is to keep the truth as far away from you and me as is possible. They have been extremely successful as you can see by the post I just quoted from. Simply by looking at the agenda, it is obvious.

Tried to watch the video on the CIA asset blowing the whistle and it was removed or some crap. Too bad, from your post it sounded interesting.

It's true though, "they" are trying to destroy the natural order God planned, and the earth and everyone in it along with the plan. It's getting to the point where you even say the name "Jesus" in public (unless it's as a swear word) and you will get arrested.

No, because he, she or it did not exist.

Christianity was started by a bunch of people that were very very perplexed in regards to the world around them.

A series of regulations were written down in story book form to control the people, changed over time, interpreted differently and enforced by the followers.

Unfortunately these rules and regulations are still followed today by some, although their numbers are decreasing thankfully…..
