I refuse to accept that the Belgians invented this.
English boarding-house owners did.

No, these are �moules�: mussels- pleasant little shellfish.
Estragon remembers when he was but a Mini-Estragon, his first trip to Ostend and first encounter with �nos moules c�l�bres�.
I was not then the fearless globe-trotter that I have now become. An English chip is only tangentially connected to any version of a �fry� and these little thin things with a dollop of mayonnaise �not salt and vinegar �topped by fried shellfish, and all in a sort of paper-cornet was, frankly, intimidating.
But I think I must have just been born heroic, so I tried them and delicious they were.

I haven�t been able to track down any of Cantona�s gems; but for anyone who gets a giggle from the unfortunate moments when �celebrities� in one field open their big mouths to spout: one of my favourites is a Leicester City fansite here. Some marvelous football nonsense.

In France ???? Oh my God, what a nightmare !!! NEVER !!! Even if my live was threatened, I would not do it. But I would try to join Great-Britain, even if I have to cross the Channel by swimming.
