A tracking of the photo shows it came from Agence France Presse photo service via a stringer.

The western Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty has it here

www.rferl.org/content/syria_un_security_council/24283290.html

But from July 29, 2011 taken at Hama.

You can't take decisions today as if were the same circumstances as 2011.

The proxies for the west, GCC countries and Turkey made this an extremely difficult situation.

Yes I know exactly where it was taken thanks. It was one of a series of July '11 rallies. I could post a more recent one if you like, but I'm not sure what the date has to do with anything. Essentially the situation has not changed drastically at all, but it is certainly more 'difficult' for the people living there. It started getting awfully 'difficult' soon after those rallies took place, funny that eh?

Thats why you lose any credibility, yet you cheer for the rebels to win just like Israel does.

See the batch?

A photo published by French news agency AFP shows a Syrian rebel wearing the Al-Qaeda flag on his arm accompanying UN observers in the village of Azzara, again underscoring the fact that NATO powers are backing terrorists in their bid to topple President Bashar Al-Assad.

>Brookings institute, Washington DC based think tank, openly discussing regime overthrow on behalf of the US

www.brookings.edu...

This memo lays out six options for the United States
to consider to achieve Asad’s overthrow, should it
choose to do so:
1. Removing the regime via diplomacy;
2. Coercing the regime via sanctions and diplomatic isolation;
3. Arming the Syrian opposition to overthrow
the regime;
4. Engaging in a Libya-like air campaign to
help an opposition army gain victory;
5. Invading Syria with U.S.-led forces and toppling the regime directly; and
6. Participating in a multilateral, NATO-led effort to oust Asad and rebuild Syria.

The date matters, 2011 Syria is no more.

You seem to resist or ignore certain factors to avoid complete assessments of events...

Have you learned anything from Libya yet? apparently you haven't and i am sure you would have agreed with John McCain on Bombing Iran killing millions of Innocent Iranians.

I have provided a source in which you didn't reply other then you replied with this.

A rational conversation where Isreal has been thrown in to a conversation about Assad

A rational conversation about Syria where someone has to throw in McCain,and CNN and everything else to defend

The murderer Assad.

Want to point out where the conversation in this thread ever was "rational" ?

From that news the link i provided above me

This makes sense, as the Syrian government is secular and socialist. Which the US and its business interests don’t want, and neither does Al Qaeda. Guess they are our ally in this now.

All of the killings are direct result from the western incitement to violence, as it happened in Libya. The west is encouraging the opposition to be unreasonable, promising them that they will be rewarded with a regime change. All the “killing its own people” argument against the Syrian government is pure propaganda. It is funny when the sentence appears in all media, virtually not changed. It shows to what extend the western media are “free” and free from what and whom. Certainly, they are not free from their owners who are part of the elites/ruling class, those who are members of the 1%.

Foreign support for the opposition has increased. Foreign support for Assad's government has increased. Opposition fighters are still having difficulty holding ground. Security apparatus and Government still see steady defections but remain largely intact. International condemnation of Assad's government has increased but military intervention still remains unlikely.

In essence the situation hasn't changed; it has progressed in a manner that most people expected it to.

Why yes actually, he and his CIA friend were seen dancing the Zionist Jig with a nearby MI6 officer on the violin.

Why then must you everytime subtly post in a pro rebel position?

Did you know after a prominent newspaper published that Kuwait was joining the rebels, one group divided/split opposition tried to deny it?

Saying that the report brings bad rumours to their standing and damages the opposition?

They are starting to panic at what is getting out.

So I ask that you and your "fellow ATS team" refrain from jokes aimed at discrediting true reports about opposition.

They take a new picture with a new banner every week iirc. They're all taken in the same area with the banners all clearly being made by the same people so one might expect to see some of the same folks in their pictures.

He's probably the CIAs guy right there.

Yeah he's from the Dept of Banner Making and Having Your Picture Taken.

Yeah well if an American wrote that at least they would have put the month and day in the right order.

Second.

Putting the day/month/year in that order is the way the military does it.

America is the only country who doesn't put the day first
