This is a very real case, and very well researched. When the research team was there interviewing the daughter who finally, after all those years, went out to witness with her mother, the ufo made an appearance, so they're really interested in reaching out and waking us up. What more proof do you need to go outside yourself and pour your heart out for the state of the earth, and sky watch?

Do it with a pure heart and good intentions and you will see.

I have done this. infact i've been doing it for a while and the only rule i set to those that may contact me is to not freak me out in the process, to use some mundane approach and give me a little warning that i'm about to witness something profound.

so far, right up untill the clicking of the reply button below, i have not as yet witnessed anything like this, i have had (to the best of my knowledge) no contact or sighting thus far.

That's because you are coming from a place of fear. You put limitations on your experience.
Release your fear of them and things will change during your sky watching.

I tried to have a sighting while camping in the dessert a few months back. I asked for it with pure intent, without judgement or fear. That night I was shown that these beings are real. Very real indeed.

Thanks for posting OP. A great story from an unlikely source. This lady doesn't strike me as someone who's lived a lie since 1974. Even to her family. How could she benefit from that. She doesn't seem to be an attention-seeker either. I'm not going out on a limb either way here, because unlike some other members here, I don't know for sure. But my gut feeling is this is all true !

say what you want, but it's obvious you wouldn't believe no matter what. some people are just like that. i guess they just can't handle their reality not being what they thought it was.

right ?? .."

Only if EVERYTHING on YouTube is true (Trust me it isn't), with age comes wisdom (Hopefully)

Wisdom will tell you YT is not a "source" of videos but only a medium. Wisdom also tells you not to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Wisdom is also: "saying less and listening more" Wisdom does not dictate: if some "things" are fake, therefore, all "things" are fake. Wisdom is knowing 8mm film comes long before YT. Wisdom comes with experience.

PS> There is a documentary (Older one) called "Cocoon" that you will enjoy

Experience tells me I've read that silly regurgitated cocoon argument before on ATS verbatim and is not in your own words. Wisdom tells me you should think for yourself.

I have come to the conclusion, when someone on any site starts (or names) a thread with:
"debunk this" ,
"you cant debunk this,"
"This is undebunkable"

I have learned that I should not expect much..

Though I've been following this subject for a while, my expectations are already pretty low and getting lower daily.

Something about believing everything on youtube is pretty smart../sarcasm.

Though it gives me a idea to prove my point........

Thank you SO much - I love Dorothy!

Of all the people and stories that have come out, she rings completely true to me. Only one that has personally experienced these things will know in their hearts (and guts, if you will) whether or not they are true when others speak of them. Only someone who has gone through the various stages that she's gone through will recognize them for what they are - stages in acceptance of a completely amazing experience.

It is an enormous thing to have to incorporate in your life, and she's done it with much more grace and dignity than I ever mustered, that's for sure. Thanks for the reminder of why they show up to some of us in the first place.

They are Demonic beings and the ultimate proof is they do not talk, they read your mind or put thoughts in it. They have no sex organs!!! Those two do it for just about all us sane folk out there.

Speak for yourself. I don't see demons angels and fairies as a sane explanation. You are entitled to your opinion but there is no "ultimate proof" of anything - yet.

All this aliens are demons religious nonsense babble is starting to get on my nerves... With about 4 billion people in the world believing in God/Devil, it is completely illogical to Quote "The devils greatest trick was convincing the world he didn't exist." If anything the world has been convinced that Aliens don't exist, and that some superstitious father figure in the clouds is running our lives...

I am usually VERY skeptical, and in particular when it comes to contactee stories and especially when they talk about "light beings" or call themselves "light workers", zeta reticulans etc.

But the documentary is interesting, nevertheless.

But i think from a "scientific" point of view i am a little disappointed since the whole case with its 30.000 feet and decades of footage etc. is really nothing more than inconclusive.

I mean, the first lights she shot in the 70s are as good as the ones she filmed decades later - for me it looks like you can watch 2 ft of her footage and you will still come to the same conclusion even after you watched all 30.000 ft of it. I guess she's probably even still using the same, old camera...cheezus.

So..as "evidence" and making skeptics believe i don't think this case has any value.

But i liked the documentary because she and the family seems rather genuine - but then so are other people who believe in things which i don't necessarily agree with.

What happens when people in large enough groups have decided that certain people are "Satanic", have been shown many times throughout History, with as many piles of ashes.

Who really cares! Demons, fairies, aliens..it's fricking semantics! Who cares how some people call "them"?
The most "logical" explanation is that the phenomena are all the same, the only difference in how people interpret them.

In the ancient times, they called 'em gods, religious people call them angels, others "light beings", others aliens. Don't you realize it's all the same and only influenced by the sociological, religious, cultural bias how they are called?

Thank you. I agree.

I have seen many UFOs in my lifetime. One was a mother ship not far from the house I grew up in. It was about half the size of a full moon in the night sky. As I watched it from the window there was a bunch of little ships/lights that came out of the belly of the craft!
This freaked me out! I was around 12 or 13 years old at the time. I started seeing them in the sky on a regular basis after that.

Then when I was 18 I was coming home after getting off work (2nd shift), and stopped at a drive-through to get a hamburger on my way home. As I waited in line to order, this big, bright light came flipping through the sky! As it reached the parking lot it stopped flipping, and floated just above the power lines. It was cigar-shaped, and had a light in each end. As it floated across, not making a sound, it's light beam went right beside my car! I was freaking out, and wondered why no one else was reacting to it?

So I stuck my head out the window and hollered in a panicked scream to the car behind me, "What the Hell is that thing?!"
To add to my amazement, everyone else seemed to be "stuck in time"... like statues! No one responded, or moved a muscle! Then this thing slowly started flipping end over end again, and in two blinks of an eye it had reached the stars! When I looked at my watch I noticed about 20 minutes, give or take, had past in what seemed like only a couple of minutes. After it took off everyone acted normal again, and the line of cars started moving. No one seemed to have seen it but me. WTH?!!!

To argue that these things are real with someone who hasn't experienced them is a waste of time. You may as well argue with a broom stick!
I have had all sorts of paranormal experiences my whole life. My own family didn't believe me, so I stopped trying to convince them, or anyone else.
I accept each experience I have as a lesson for my growth in wisdom of unexplained phenomena, and go with it.
(Maybe other people have other lessons to learn while visiting in this lifetime.)

I'm not going to allow others to control my emotions by arguing with me that I didn't see what I saw. They will all see it, too................. very soon.

I understand people like this Lady, because she seems very likeable.

However the video's are not at all honest and if any expert reviewed the video's they are lying or very inept.

That frame count is so slow that the effects they show could be made to show in a single frame so easy it's almost laughable.

For instance in the first bit. If she had the camera in one hand and waved the flashlight in the other, it would jerk in unison if she wanted it to or not.

Second if it were on a tripod, you would only need to tap your foot on the surface the tripod was sitting on to get that jitter in a single frame. Where in this do the so called experts point this out?

Remember 16 frames a second. Very slow and very low quality from a home consumer level camera everyone had in a closet in their youth.

Trying to be smart without actually doing any research. I am a professional photographer and have done all of the usual tricks you are thinking off. The waving lights with a cigarette or other light source but to me it is impossible to create the following picture just by either moving the camera or waving any lights about for the following reasons:
1. The movement is in 3 dimensions which is very hard to copy to the extent showing.
2. The movement is in different directions at the same time [which instantly eliminates camera movement and you would need one person per direction].
3. No person can be seen holding a light source [this is almost impossible to do and especially in this picture where the light paths cross and go off into various directions, there is just nobody there].

Here is the image. Whilst the lady is very convincing and I am for now defending her pictures, I can not be 100% sure but I wouldn't just slag something off if there are unexplainable discrepancies to my theory.
Here is the picture I am taking about. It is from the first of the three clips from the other thread about this lady:

I am also grateful for the OP to post this as I had never heard of this before.

First off that guy in video 1 is totally in love with her so of course he'll say anything to back up her story. Next what it looks like is an effect you'd get by running an old video camera in the dark then taking a regular camera with a flash and setting that off. So the flash goes off and fills one frame of the video with some strange lights. BIG DEAL. What ufo's what aliens? I see nothing at all other than some stupid tricks are for kids camera effect.

Which means you're smarter about these things than the experts consulted in the videos (might help to watch all five parts), and everyone else is deluded or a liar.

Riiiiight.

Maybe all you see is stupid camera tricks because you don't have eyes to see. Taken at face value, impressive. Could it be a hoax? Of course.

Thanks for the post. For the record, I've never heard of her.

Maybe you should try a few of those links yourself?

You will discover much of the posted material, video footage and links are no longer working.
Many have been removed by user or account no longer available, others simply expired so, this is great the OP decided to start a fresh thread for those of us who may have missed the first few.
I am appreciating the revival of this story. Perhaps consider a Modship since this work might appeal to your exacting sense of propriety?

Buy some cheap stuff on eBay and duplicate this for us, since it's laughably easy. I would think 1/16th of a second is a pretty slim window to jar the camera without running into multiple frames?
edit on 6/14/2012 by AkumaStreak because: (no reason given)

All I get from this is some blindly believe and have little to no knowledge about what they believe.

1/16 of a second is a lifetime relating to this and no photographer is going to agree with you.

I'll pass the challenge to you, prove me wrong. I'm not the one who thinks it's true because I want it to be true. Actually I hope it is true. The difference is I want real verifiable evidence which is what I like to call "rational"

I have three Nikor VR lenses right now that jar the lens in the process of correcting for tripod bounce and recover in far less time than that. What kind of gear do you use? Years of experience you have that you are basing your opinion on?

You place a tripod on a wood floor, tap the floor and you will see a result in a single frame at that rate. That's just the way it is.

I also noted she may be honest. It's very possible to be honest and at the same time mistaken. It's also possible the visitations are the result of a mental disorder. Those suffering from such disorders can be very nice people. I said possible here, not that I know for a fact. I'd be foolish if I took either side and said I know for a fact. Foolish and irrational.
