Thank you so much for coming on and giving information regarding Dorthy's encounters. I listened to the interview link you provided, and found it quite interesting.

I don't understand how anyone could still be skeptical if they watch the videos, and listen to the interview, but I'm sure there will still be some who simply refuse to open their eyes to accept this.

I didn't bother wasting my time watching the video. Random people coming up with crazy crap isn't worth anyones time. You can be foolish enough to accept their word. I not so much.

Allen Hynek's thoughts on the attempts of debunking the UFO phenomena in whole.

Three; Scientist in their desire to come to some conclusion on what the phenomena is that Dorothy films, that they gave her several new movie cameras that were preloaded with film. After she would shoot the footage, the camera and film would be picked up for their (the scientists) to process the film. The results were the same as from the 8mm camera Dorothy used and owned.

Four; More recent footage has also been taken to the ILM (Industrial Light and Magic) studios for analysis (this is George Lucas's production facility). ILM said that after analysis, that what ever is filmed and on these frames, they were not doctored.

The phenomena seems to continue even after 40 years. That's a long time to keep a perpetuated hoax being filmed on 8mm cameras at 16 frames per second. And I have trouble believing that a small shake would only affect one frame which is 1/16 of a second. I'm a professional photographer/videographer who started his career in broadcasting using large and small cameras of all types. With simple 8mm cameras it would be impossible to do a "one frame-light-streak" without an actual edit in/out point with the insertion of just one frame. Otherwise there would be more light streaks before and after the proceeding frames. Just like a bouncing ball, it doesn't just bounce once, it bounces continuously but at half it's energy each bounce after.

So regardless of what may or may not be some light movement (creating trails), the researchers (both past and present) were very intrigued.

For those that want to hear the complete interview that my former deceased ATSmix partner did with Dorothy, you can hear it here (as the ATSMix version is only of nine minutes for some reason). This was one of the few interviews that she allowed to transpire and we here at ATS were lucky to be chosen.

I'm happy for her ,,,really. But the fact she's the record holder on using film, means diddly.

I am not denying those were not lights,beams, a fixed object or moving object. I call bluff and will always call bluff on any those aspects being related to aliens.

People think Aliens are a joke because of this bs.. I don't have to watch it to know it. People like this hiders the efforts of us that really take this subject serious. Stop feeding them.

They dont' care about Alien life on other planets. They care about fame and profit. If they cared about the subject of alien life outside of earth and the solar system then they would never make such claims.

I can assume and experience counts.

You didn't even watch it, and so just shoot off some things you've picked up in your arsenal, not real valid opinons mind you, so you are the one who doesnt come across as even a balanced or well researched skeptic.

Those that need more...and who do not take everything on faith...why are we the bad guys.

There has never been any evidence to support this type of phenomenon...the only evidence that is always presented is the kind that involves some type of mental issue..be delusions, vivid dreams or what have you.

This is just the modern version of the old hag in your room, monsters under the bed.

The only people who study this are the ones who believe it...which makes their evidence biased...it needs a third party.

It did get a third party looking into this...the abductees did not like it.

They love to throw in the Harvard professor who believed...but totally disregard the other two Harvard professors who disagreed and found it to be nothing more than delusions, dreams...etc.

They also said it was one of the ways for the mind to deal with past sexual abuse.

I was first refusing to even watch the videos as well, because i generally dislike all the typical contactee stories. But for some reason i decided otherwise, otherwise it wouldn't be fair to debate here. Doesn't change the fact i found that documentary "interesting" - less from a technical and "evidence" aspect (far from it!) but interesting nevertheless.

FURTHERMORE - you have to realize that in "UFO research" sooner or later you will arrive at a point where you simply cannot separate "logical analysis" aka "scientific method" with more new-agey/spiritual aspects of the phenomenon anymore. You cannot deny that many encounters *do* have this aspect, it cannot simply be ignored. This is one reason i tend to go with researchers like Vallee who try to see a bridge between the spiritual aspect of the phenomenon and the classic, Ufo research who simply assumes they are "craft" and try to research the phenomenon from a logical point of view, bare any spiritual aspect. BUT..what...if this is not even possible? It would make as much sense as trying to debunk dreams as "not real" (which, from a certain perspective, certainly ARE "not real" - but this doesn't mean they do not exist nor that they have no relevancy). I personally think it might be difficult to even get behind the UFO phenomenon without looking at both sides.
