Hey there!
Many of you probably have more experience with astral projection than i do.. because i have not fully had a astral projection experience yet.. I am looking to see if anybody on here has and if so.. what are your thoughts about it?.. Would you say it is important to learn and experience?.. Is it safe?... or have you had any bad experience with it?

The closest i have gone with this is getting to a state where i am unable to move my body.. i have no control over it and i have a crazy weird feeling.. i assume that is a state where my soul is on the edge of leaving my body and so i a not in control of it. i have been in this state twice.. both without trying but both times it has kinda freaked me out and i had to fight myself to be able to move my body again...
Has anybody experienced something like this?..
I have looked astral projection up and watched videos and sounds very intersting!.. i have tried doing it again but i have not been able to.. but i am also curious to see what other peoples experiences are with it..
Peace and love!

If you are feeling tingly sensations or electrical impulses, you are very close to astral projection.

The part that will prevent you from going any further is that you will get scared and get afraid to leave your body.

This has happened to me multiple times. The key point is to say, "I am only taking a temporary vacation from my body, and I will make it safely back."

yeah thats what it is.. it gets to the point where i start feeling that vibrating or tingly feeling and i just open my eyes and then i can start to feel my energy flow back into my body.
But I want to be able to experience it!.. it sounds amazing haha.. But just today i had that experience where i couldnt move and i even started to see this pink looking thing moving. and thought that was kinda weird.. but i didnt know what was going on and i tried getting out of that feeling and moving my body.. But after that i started to look it up and i came across astral projection

Exactly ... fear will paralyze you ... eternal consciousness is what we are ... So fear is really ridiculous .

Lots to explore and learn .. so don't try just accept what you are and you'll probably pop out it is startling so you'll probably snap back into you body don't worry .

My advice would be - it takes a lot of practice for some (like me) to do it from waking consciousness. For others it almost comes naturally, like going to the toilet in the morning. The key thing is though, processing what happens when you actually project, not so much the technique for projecting. What do you do once in the astral realms and what do you want to learn from those beings that dwell there. If you just want to boast to others that you can astral travel then you are on the wrong path.

Get this book by Robert Bruce if you are serious about this - it's probably the best one I have ever read - very comprehensive indeed. Better than Monroe's stuff.

I wouldnt really know what it is i would want to do in the astral world.. but it wouldnt be to boast.. it would probably be to see the world or even throughout the universe.. idk.. something like that.. but i never thought of the beings that i would see in that realm.. i would love to communicate with someone or any type of being.. that would be very interesting!.. but i would not want to encounter anything bad or evil.. that would ruin it all i would think.. and might even be dangerous.. right?
but anyways thanks for the link!

Yes. The trick is, is not to freak out, because you are having an OBE, and when you freak out, you end up crashing back in to your body. It's hard, I usually freak out too, but if you just go with it, it will probably lead to an OBE. I have had two of them.

Oh yea, and also, when you do have an OBE, don't get freaked out when you encounter beings. I finally got passed the point where I didn't freak out when I felt the disconnection from my physical body, only to freak out when I realized there was someone there with me.

I've had a few OBE's and a whole lot more freak outs. I experienced the vibration and paralysis rather often when I was younger. I didn't understand enough about what was happening and was fearful when i encountered another being. Eventually I faught it so much that I made it stop happening so often. Now that I understand more I want to try again but, I have a hard time just reaching close to the vibration point. Don't let fear hold you back from exploring and learning. Reading up on what you may experience will make it easier to not "freak out".

As my Guru stated many times. Stay away from Astral projection. The Astral plane is not where you want to go or be at any time for any duration. Short cuts to enlightenment do not come from the Astral plane which is a lower plane on the way to the Hell plane.

The Astral plane is where a lot of people went when they were on acid.

This is advice from the Ascended Masters. Take the advice or suffer the consequences which are not always immediate.

If you want to truly have an enlightening experience call (pray to the Ascended Masters for guidance. They will not lead astray.

If you look at some of the posts you can see that it is a freakish place and entities that are encountered are not your friends.

Pray, Fast, Meditate, Repent. Ask for guidance and be patient. It is all in God's time.

Reb, while you can, pray for the transmutation and after effects of your OBEs. Ask that all that is not good be bound and transmuted. These experiences are heaven taken by force and cannot, Repeat"""" Cannot be beneficial. Some experiences especially those gained by drugs are given to the individual In Spite of the drugs.

They are constantly watching over us and try to lead us up.

I'd be super careful what I read, and who I listen to. In my experience, we are exactly what we think we are, and projecting your energies is only half the battle here. You also have to be careful what you bring back in to yourself.

This, I imagine, is *also* true with regard to astral projection.

How to tell the difference between lucid dreaming and astral projection anyone?
I've had experiences where I wake up and I'm in sleep paralysis,I have a build up of energy in my stomach as if it's going to give way, this happens somes when I'm feeling week or sick with tiredness

also today is the first time I had a lucid dream in one year,a year ago when I opened my third eye I had a spat of lucid dreams, today in my lucid dream everything seemed distorted ,I noticed a snake bite on my wrist, for some reason I knew that was was dreaming and I visualised the punctures in my wrist vanishing, and they then vanished,it felt good I had control to change the wound that had been inflicted on me,I felt excitement and then woke up

I had a dream when I was 14. The most vivid frightening dream I have ever had. I still remember it to this day as if it had just happened. This is what I dreamed. I was in my room exactly as it was. My ratty graffiti covered unfinished desk the tiny fan that sat on it pointed directly on my head and face to provide relief from the heat. All the odds and ends of what a 14 year old considers important strewn across the desk top. Images of my favorite rock stars of that time cut from magazines plastered to the wall. The Van Halen pic above my head with Micheal Anthony hooked to a line suspended over the stage holding his JD base David Lee stands to one side with a hand on Micheal's leg. I could go into much more detail but I am really just trying to point out how vivid this dream was even today some 25 odd years later. Anywho, I am lying in my bed awake but paralyzed with a sense that something very bad is coming. My bed sat along the side of the room that the door did. So if you opened the door to my room the first thing you would see is the foot board to my bed. I lay eyes wide open watching the door as it slowly opens. I beautiful man walks in. He had long curly blonde hair. The face of an angel. Deep blue eyes. I knew instantly It was Satan or Lucifer. His attire was strange. He wore a red and white horizontally stripe shirt. The neck on the shirt hung low to revel some of his chest. The sleeves only covered to about mid forearm. It was tight almost like it didn't fit. He wore bell bottom jeans like you see in the navy. The smile on his face was pure and betrayed no malice but my fear centered to one hand he held behind his back. The left. I knew he was bad even though his face gave no hint of anything but kindness. He walks along the side of my bed and stops about half way. He never breaks eye contact with me. He slowly starts to bend over pulling an ornate curvy dagger from behind his back. Like a sacrificial dagger you would see in a movie. I still cant move as he raises the dagger to stab me. The kind face and eyes never changing. Finally I break loose and scream. That's how I woke. Sitting up screaming in bed. I never thought it anything but a really hellish nightmare until in later years when I dabbled in some physiology and put together that during that time I was really starting to question and deny the Christian faith I had followed since about the age of 8. I ended being a atheist for a long time. Now a practice what I call personal spirituality. Soooo ....

How do you tell the difference between lucid dreaming and your mind working out issues subconsciously. Logically I can see how your dream might be telling you that you can heal hurts done to you without assistance. You have the ability within you. are they same? I am not doubting. One can not learn unless they ask ...right? Sending out positivity!

The difference is that a dream is not real and you know it .. it's surreal .... a Real OOBE is instantly recognizable as your real environment it is very very clear although cast in an unusual light ...Your perception is acute ... You can pass directly through objects fly so to speak and every move is dictated by your intention ... you can enter vortex like mandalas to different ???? levels .. for the most part I can remember entering and exiting but not what transpired there .
I was an NDEr ..20 min flat line ..that gave me or reawakened the ability to deal with the perception of these planes of existence . In other words you'll know an OOBE when it happens .

Good advice, Prophetboy. I have done it most of my life, not so much anymore. The "tingle" you feel is your Spirit vibrating within your body. Practice is the key, and Ego/Fear is the Enemy here. Someone said the other day we have to kill Ego, I think it was Unity, anyway, that's not it...we don't kill that which is a part of us, we alter it to suit our desires. Will is the Force behind, and before this endeavour. Dare is the Emotion you project to the Force for guidance and direction. Steering is of vast importance if one is to successfully access, and walk the Ether, or Astral Plane. The Ascended Masters will help you is asked, after all, they were once like you are now.
What are their names? I don't know, it never came up.
To Will, to Dare, and to have Direction. That sounds like a good philosophy, doesn't it? Human Willpower is a very powerful force, backed up by Nature Herself, and powered from Light above.

The Ether/Astral Plane is a world between the worlds, as it is in between two Dimensions, the 3rd, and 4th Dimensions of Time/Space. When I am there, I can always see a bright red sky, wrought with angry black clouds. The "ground" as it was is black, but can be seen, and many rocks and other stuff is all over on the ground. Also I see old, partially destroyed structures, like they have been there for a very long time. I get the impression this place is very very old, Ancient, in fact.

There are ....let us call them "creatures," there. I could tell you, the reader, what I myself saw there, but this is best left to personal interpretation. Just know, and I mean KNOW, that nothing can hurt you unless you allow this to happen. This is why a direct association with the emotion "fear" is needed. Walk without fear, whatever you see can do nothing unless you, friend allow it to. These creatures, Christians would call them "demons," are "inferior spirits."

Inferior astral.

We call Inferior Astral the atmospheric layer that encircles Earth. In this layer are the spirits that, while incarnate, were wholly engulfed in materialistic emotions and belonged to all walks of life. Such emotions are not lacking in the Inferior Astral, which is also an environment pervaded with religious mysticism. Many of those who deceived their fellow men with promises of heaven and threats of hell are also present in the Inferior Astral. It is the paradise of all materialists and hedonists.

No spirit ever incarnates having in mind the Inferior Astral as a goal. It goes from the Inferior Astral to a spiritual world that corresponds to its level of evolution and only from such a spiritual plane will it incarnate. In the Inferior Astral the knowledge which spirits possess does not go beyond what they knew while on Earth. Those that were materialists cling still more to this idea because their environment does not favour a change of opinion. There they realize that neither devils nor saints, neither heaven nor hell exist, and they scorn those worshippers who are still benumbed under the influence of their beliefs.

The devout who were educated under the principle of fear, are at first intimidated when they enter the Inferior Astral, because they think about hell and the purgatory. Next, realizing that they have been deceived, they become disturbed, lose notion of their condition, and enter into a state of complete perplexity. Thus bewildered, they seek the churches, as if in search of a route or a guiding light, as a last resort. With the passage of time, they become familiar with the environment and establish relations with other disincarnate souls in the same plight. It is with no small disillusionment that they see the daydreams built into their minds with the plentiful, suggestive material of religious mysticism vanish into smoke. Still, so addicted are they to saints and gods, and so deeply rooted is their fear of punishment, that not even in that state of spiritual-awareness are they able to make their atrophied reasoning work to liberate themselves and derive the consequent benefits.
source
Good luck to all.

Auto, thanks for the support. One Ascended Master that you know ascended in public view. He is the AScended Master Jesus The Christ. Jesus the Light. Jesus of the Christos. The Universal light that we all contain and are supposed to perfect through our mind and bodies.

The Astral plane is a denser plane than where we are at. We want to go UP. Strive for perfection and Ascend. That is the goal. The Ten Commandments are base master goals. When you can master these base goals then you can move up higher. Raise the vibration, increase the light, move up to higher consciousness.

For true understanding and teaching google Ascended Masters.
