One global regime doesn’t mean to eliminate the existing national regimes.After the whole humans unify,the existing national regimes are still needed, so there is no need to rebuild.But under the basic principles of benefit-sharing, risk sharing, all present countries gradually form and build a unified global regime together on the basis of existing national regimes. Global regime and the existing national regimes form a community so that they can represent the fundamental interests of all mankind (7 billion people)——to ensure everyone has the right to survival and survival better!
One global government doesn’t mean to eliminate the existing governments. After the whole humans unify,the existing national governments are still needed, so there is no need to rebuild.But all countries founded a global government on the basis of the existing national governments.
Global implementation of a common currency is just for a better economic and trade transaction for the peoples of the countries around the world and not have to eliminate the currencies of other countries!

If the whole humans unify, the state would not exist, the war among nations will no longer exist, human tragedy like the first World War and the second world war will never repeat itself; nuclear shadow will never envelop the human’s mind; the human’s dream of perpetual peace can be achieved;224 of the world countries and regions each year about 1.4trillion dollars in total defense spending will no longer exist, if these funds will be used for human spaceflight industry, it will greatly promote the development of the cause of space.

b.Global unification is the best way to achieve human internal friction to minimize!
If the whole humans unify, repeated construction among countries would not exist ,unnecessary friction to a minimum. Such as the global positioning system, there are American GPS system, Russian GLONASS system, Chinese Beidou satellite navigation and positioning system. But for humans, as long as there is a global positioning system can meet the demand .
c. Global unification is the basic premise of creating human Golden Age!
If the whole humans unify,trade barriers among countries no longer exist. Along with the global trade liberalization and economic construction to the backward areas, the global economy will usher in a period of high-speed development.
The history of the Golden Age were always on the basis of the grand unity, so global unification will greatly promote the development of productive forces, thus creating the human Golden Age.
d. Global unification is the fundamental condition of realizing benefit sharing of all mankind!
If the whole humans unify, humans can realize global redistribution of the wealth, resources for human survival and living better through the global government,in order to change the present state as the units of local wealth, resources reallocation.

If the whole humans unify, humans have more power to deal with and solve all kinds of problems, crises and emergencies. For example, the food crisis, energy crisis, economic crisis, global warming, earthquake, infectious diseases and so on.

Due to the diversity and complexity of the crisis,humans only build a global government,realize global unification, in order to achieve comprehensive, effective and reasonable treatment.

We know that the growth of all things on Earth depends on the sun.The life of the sun is about 5 billion years, after 5 billion years the sun will become a red giant; Earth will be swallowed by the sun.Until then, if humans are still living on Earth, mankind will inevitably all perish.
For modern people ,the event which will occur after 5 billion years is too far away.But the time is near or far, we can not cover up the seriousness of the incident.Until then, if human beings are still really living on earth, so mankind will certainly fail.
IF human beings want to continue to survive after five billion years later ,before the Earth disappears, human beings have to find a planet suitable for human survival outside of the solar system,or transform into some of the planets fit for human habitation, and realize all human migration.In order to achieve these goals, five billion years are really enough for humans?
Enough or not enough?We can not simply answer.But the urgency is beyond doubt. Well, now what can we do ?What shall we do will win more time for our children and grandchildren, so that the future’s mankind can unhurriedly leave the Earth, build a new home?
The humans want to walk out of the solar system, find a new place of residence in the Milky way, It is impossible to achieve by the efforts of a single country. If the humans want to use as much as possible manpower, material and financial resources for the development of space cause,there is only one way for humans ——global unification.

The way of promoting the global unification which must be inevitably adopted and be used is peace——non-violent way.Use violence, force to promote the global unification will lead to world wars. In the face of nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction, can human beings survive?The use of force to achieve global unification must be opposed by all mankind.Therefore, in a peaceful way to achieve global unification is an inevitable choice for human.

Excessive pursuit of the unity of culture, ideology, belief is contrary to the law of historical development of mankind in our modern society which advocate the diversity of culture, ideology, belief . Burning of the Books,burying of the learned men, Qin Shi Huang exhausted the iron fist and can not stop the diversification of culture, ideology, belief, etc in china,so not to mention the present worldwide. Turmoil or crisis which appears in an area of a country is bound to affect or influence the other countries or regions ,makes other countries or regions damaged.
Benefit-sharing and risk-sharing are reciprocal causation. If the benefits are shared, the risk are bound to be shared; If the risk are shared so benefits are bound to be shared!

Your theory is premised on a faulty principal. That because there is 1 government, doesn't mean the citizenry wont fight amongst each other. Just look throughout the world. The most common form of conflict is civil wars, not foreign aggression.

the list, so far of people who tried global unification thru out history are julius caesar and every roman emperor, hannibal of carthage, alexander the great, genghis khan, saladin, sultan of the muslim world, napolean, the british empire, the otterman empire led by suleiman the magnificent, or who ever happened to be caliph at the time, hitler and the third reich, stalin and the ussr and now america and it's door knob leaders.

you can include darth sidious, chancellor of the galactic republic and the first emperor of the galactic empire.

but i don't know if this counts, as he tried to unify the galaxy and was defeated by ewoks.

Thank you for sharing, it is as if I am reading my own mind. Say, is that possible?

It has become apparent over the last few years that what you are suggesting about a planetary catastrophe is more than a possibility, its now, for me, a probability. The mechanics of the catastrophe are not the same, but the result being a complete loss of our home planet are.

For any "Unification" to take place their must be absolute honesty concerning humanities history, timelines, and any and all adversaries who would stand in our way to achieving this "Golden Age". It must all be brought out into the open for all to review, judge, and take actions that would promote this unification and defend our resolve.

Everyone must be educated about our past and its unified government and how it failed so that safeguards are put in place to protect us from having it happen all over again. I can not stress this enough! When people are enlightened about what really happened and who was responsible they can then understand how utterly imperative it is that we unite.

I know most people today fear a New World Order coming to power, they need only look to the Georgia Guide Stones for proof. Once the power structure that put them there are no longer a threat to humanity and have publicly been removed, one way or another, then a true effort may proceed, in my humble opinion.

One other thing that must, and I repeat, must, be touched upon, is that ALL of this planet must be involved, we will need the resources of ALL peoples and governments to accomplish this task. I would pray your position is mirrored. It should be a Joint effort.

There will be need for an exchange program from country to country, with no exceptions. The people involved should be as knowledgeable as possible about the programs they represent, but above all, if they are part of a exchange program that represents ALL of humanity and will be respectful of the laws and customs of the country they are visiting. We already have a common global language that is used in business and in aviation. So that will be a very small issue.

You have done a really good job at trying to capture the sense of what it means to be human, a common trait that all peoples of this planet share and one that runs a lot deeper than national boarders and shared cultures. For a moment it did take me out my little self centred world and realise that there is a bigger picture in play, thank you.

As for practicably, movement towards a common currency has been the works for a long time as global trade has grown and expanded. The foreign exchange markets are representative of this at this time, they still have some problems but a common currency value is fairly well established. Until all the rules and regulations of how a stable, productive and legitimate economy have been clearly defined, it is in the global interest that we hold off making the step to a single global currency that could crash and drag everything down.

The idea of a single language goes against respecting the diversity of cultures and is not going to work. Just take a look at how diverse and mixed the English language has become. Over time improvements in automated language translation will aid in communication between the main language groups, but due to the diversity and dynamic nature of language it is always constantly evolving with many sub branches. Over time a more unified language may develop if other processes of unification are working, but to push this point before it is naturally ready is a call for war.

As for a common government, there is need for organisation and responsibility on a local, state, national, regional and global levels. Clear distinctions do need to be made between these different levels of governments so cultural diversity and self determination can be respected while global organisation can take place. Considering the challenges the UN has had to face it is doing a fairly good job. It does cope a lot of flack and deserving so, but considering the size, complexity and diversity it has to contend with I expect this world would be in much worst state without it.

The other main contention I have with your ideas is with promoting unification through peace. The most powerful organisation in the world is the UN Security council, because they have the muscle. It can be a somewhat dysfunctional body at times as Syria is demonstrating, but when they can agree it does bring together an Earth shattering force. I do hold that peaceful values and aims can help guide this and similar organisations through the disharmony and conflict that it must face. With a deep and embedded culture of war within the history of mankind it is important to remain objective and realistic in attempts to tame this beast.
