I get emails from political figures, this is what I woke up to this morning.

"Gun owners face the looming threat of the U.N.'s Small Arms Treaty, which is designed to register, ban, and confiscate firearms from American citizens. This past spring, Obama signed into law a reauthorization of the so-called "PATRIOT" Act which permits bureaucrats to classify gun owners as ""Domestic Terrorists". Even worse, news reports say President Obama is already scheming to sneak an under-the-radar gun control agenda through should he be elected to a second term."

When will America fight back... When its too late and they have taken all our guns? Well guess what, I have THOUSANDS of rounds of ammo as well as enough guns for my self, my family and close friends.. and I KNOW I'm not the only one out there!!!

COME GIT SUM

America will fight back the day that they come to take their guns.
When there are UN troops roaming door to door and confiscating weapons via force, then we will see large scale fight back. The UN will not want to screw around with the good old US of A, There is a gun behind every blade of grass

I REALLY hope your right.. But I fear the majority of us will refuse to wake up from out slumber! I mean with Obama still in office, and not impeached.. God only knows

PS

I heard when this happens, its going to be like they did in Europe (where I forget). But basically they will give you a time frame of when all registered guns MUST be turned in. And for those registered guns that are not turned in, THOSE people will see UN police or what have you at there door, and probably won't be nice about it!

FEMA camps any-body?

Haha, They like to think thats how its going to work. The second that call comes out to turn in your weapons. There will be public uproar. There will be a few people who do it, but the overwhelming majority of Americans (i assume) would rather die than to give up their weapons. Their only means of protection. Only means to hunt.

There are a few militias in the states too that are prepared just for this eventuality. Lots of military will refuse too i assume, and former military. And just the fact alone that the blues (un) will be roaming american streets will make people pissed.

just more fear based mumbo jumbo , yes the M1Garand is band, so are some types of shot guns or soon will be, ie mos 500, or rem auto like this one www.hinterlandoutfitters.com... Why do you ask? because they hold more that 5 rounds, not the gun but the amount it can hold with out a clip same with the M1 holds 8 more than the 5 allowed by the UN, but we in the US want 20 50 or even 100 round to shoot the cans, or to per-tenderize our game. ie elk deer moose bear

They just did it in Venezeula, under good ole Hugo Chavez, that champion of individual freedom destruction.
There is a grace period where gun owners can turn in guns to the government before being convicted of a crime.

Good luck to Obama trying that here. Individual gun ownership is more American than apple pie. Much more as a matter of fact. It is an integral part of our culture. It epitomizes individual freedom and self reliance and is the ultimate equalizer.
When they take that away, the elites and the collectivists have won and freedom is dead.

I'm honestly not too worried.

House Commitee Schedules Contempt Vote for Holder This is related to the "Fast & Furious" program that Odumbass and Holder orchestrated to try and circumvent gun laws and turn the tide toward firearm negativity. Obviously we can see where this got us.

Additionally, firearms sales in the US have been breaking records ever since this fascist-in-chief took office.

They are welcome to come and take mine, but it will be an orderly process. First I will issue them my ammo, one carefully placed round at a time!

I tend to agree. Individual firearm rights will be the hardest piece of American tradition to break. Trying to enforce any real gun control could result in serious uprisings (At least in the West and Southeast)

I live in Arizona, and here, we do not register our firearms - even private party sales.

And I just can not see the UN coming in and doing a firearm round up - however, if it did come to be, I also can not see most Americans doing a damn thing about it. They are too fat, unmotivated, uneducated and too naive. They will follow along with our sycophantic government and believe it's empty promises.

The one's that will resist will, unfortunately, meet with a quick demise only because their numbers will be few and their lines incredibly thin - this is especially true if there is no revolt from our military servicemen and women. I for one will fight this to the very end.

Just the simple idea of this UN intervention angers me to the fullest.

Easy-peasy. When that day comes, refuse to register your guns, and make a lot of noise that you are not going to. They can't do anything until the grace period is up. Use the grace period to coordinate with a few dozen militias, and to beef up your defenses.

When confiscation days comes, and the blue tanks roll up. Let 'em have it.

No problem. Your message will be delivered, and probably on the nightly news for all to see.

If you're afraid of dying, and unwilling to push it to the firewall, probably better to just roll over and turn your guns in like a good little Quisling.

Some things are worth dying for, simply because there are worse fates than death.

Ummm... you may not have thought that through...

The folks who refuse to turn in their guns are going to all be on the same side of the ditch.

What are the people on the other side going to fight with?

If you're forming in lines to begin with, thick or thin, you're doing it wrong.
