Help with E-Mail

END OF MESSAGE.

I am posting today since I did not check my e-mail untill today. I have reason to belive that it is a member of ATS who sent this "SPAM/HATE MESSAGE" to me. My e-mail is only known to www.starwars.com..., www.nationstates.net..., and www.lucasarts.com.... I do have my e-mail listed at this website. Whhat do I do if this is a member of ATS who is acting so childishly? Sorry if you cannot help me or if this is to be consdiered "wast of bandiwth".

here's what i'd do. trace his IP address, go to the isp service place and get a list of all the people that use it. then, do a search of all people who use that email address. once you get a match, buy a large aluminum baseball bat and a bottle of gasoline. forst, go to this cats house, and set his yard on fire. then knock on the door, bust him in the head with the ball bat, and have his girlfriend!!!!


is there a way to search for e mail address listed here on ats, if so you should try that, then contact the user, or an admin and report the problem. probably just some angry punk.

How do I do an IP search. Sorry not that great timkering with computers. I was just about to do an e-mail search.
My only reason guessing it was an ATS memeber is why the hell would someone who did not know me do that?

Hate to bring this up here but going to a few other boards you are n`t the only one this has happened to recently. Seems if you are a poster on a popular board you are fair game to this kinda thing.

(Don`t post there much but its happened to a few people over at the BV recently)

though I only post at this board. My quesion is who is this guy, and hwo did he get mye-mail.

An ATS member told me that some visitors browse the profiles list and may be stealing e-mail addresses. I've removed my address and website address because of that.

You can check visitors activity by going to the bottom of the main page and clicking their name.

JM, did you delete this email? If not, what was the size of it?

The size PA was about .2 KBS. The person replied and claims that someone hacked into his account to get his password and it was a misunderstanding. I don't get hwo he got my e-mai in the first place.
