I've been reading a few hours around the internet on Planet X and the possibility of it affecting orbits and gravity and came across this guys page and got very curious. Im not a physicist or astronomer, so some of his comments are either over my head, or make no sense as far as the universe goes. I love this site because there are actual intelligent people (though some are educated beyond their intelligence) and I guess Im hoping someone will read this and comment ont he validity of it being possible or if Gordon J. Gianninoto is a wacko. Thanks and take care.

Not even going to bother reading the link.

Thousands of people saw the transition happen, through telescopes, through pinhole cameras that projected the shadow of Venus itself passing in front of the sun.

I dont mean faked in the same sense as people who say the moon landing was faked, but faked as far as the orbit, angle, and how it was supposed to have been seen compared to how "top" astrologers made it appear. But thanks.

The title of the linked article is actually not that bad. Don't know why OP didn't use it.
Venus 'Bunny Hops' Across The Face Of The Sun In A Slow Motion Sine Wave Unlike Predicted Course

And this video

seems to be the thing being discussed. It's a wall of text on the linked page though and I doubt I'd understand much of it at this late hour.

ETA Just watched the video. If anything is faked I'd say it is the motion of Venus in the video but I'm no expert, far from it.

Maybe he wasn't saying it was literally a fake, but that it was actually Planet X transiting the sun.

Or so I assume, I don't feel like clicking the link.

Because I just started really diving into this site and entertaining my adhd and am not completely sure of the protocol or norms. Thanks and will do better in the future posts.

Nothing changes it being transparent, so the light shone through in the darkness.

No worries, you're a new user, it takes a while to work out how it all works here.
For future reference, it is a board rule that threads have the same title as the place you get the info from. It makes searching easier when someone checks to see if it has been posted before.

Yeah, saying 'faked' was the wrong wording. The man is saying that the 'bunny hop' motion of Venus is actually Planet X's gravity pushing on Venus. Meaning Venus is trying to go one way and Planet X was pushing it back.

I've been thinking the same thing since heard about the event but not sure if this could be a possibility until now I'm not astronomer either, but we are living interesting times, thanks for the post, lets see what happen with this !!!!

I was looking at some of the youtube comments. This sounds like it's from someone knowledgable:

You are looking at the ProbA2 SWAP image. The spacecraft is in a sun-synchronous orbit which ascends and descends enough to effectively change the perspective because the camera is locked to center the sun as it varies. This causes Venus in the images to appear that it's orbital path is wobbling. In actuality the path is stable.

It certainly did look strange though.

Interesting looking...the people on the comments on the video site seem to think it is

Seems reasonable I don't know, would love to know more.

Is that in a thread somewhere? Did not see it in the T&C.

Hmmm...I read the article and watched the youtube videos (and some extra ones).

I am usually not in the "debunker" camp, but I have to say the videos with the "bunny hopping" venus looked faked. Some of the youtubers also said that the previous solar eclipse was also "faked", which I find sort of funny, since my husband and I stood and watched it the whole time. Unless aliens are in space putting a big disc across the sun to screw with our heads, it was a real solar eclipse.

Plus, the article states that gravity pushes and does not pull. If that were so, everything not attached to this planet would go flying off into space, no? The guy who wrote the article wants people to recommend him for the MacArthur Grant for geniuses to continue their work, so he actually went through a whole rambling tome in which he claimed that he was smarter than the foremost scientific expert on gravity, and then puts a link for the MacArthur Foundation so somebody could recommend him, since he couldn't recommend himself.

Very interesting idea, but since he claims some aliens moved Venus, and are helping our government to hide their agenda until the right time by moving Venus around to placate us amateur star-gazers in order to hide the existence of Planet X, I gotta say that it was humorous fiction, but I just cannot buy it. I think the guy is a loon.

Fun read, though. Thanks OP!

I thought venus was supposed to transit from top left to bottom right? I don't think this is a video of venus at all. I'll go try to find a real video.

Got one. The video from OP is totally FAKE!

This link has many different videos, but from 0:46 to 0:52 is the actual transit of venus in visible light.

I might have got it a little muddled too. It is a rule in Breaking Alternative News, but I guess not for the other forums. Sometimes rules are confusing.

Had a look at the link and the comments about proba2 are correct, that explains the bunny hop.
