WHo will have power?: Every one, there will be a voting system in place where every one votes on every thing in the world through computers and internets....since they will be attached to our mind... [yvid]

. people live long lifes, 10000's of years..with the nanotechk that is invented to repair cell tiussue.

OH its coming! and there is nothing you can do.

I don't see how living for tens of thousands of years could ever be a bad thing.

Even so, why would living until 10,000 be worse than living to 85-90 at the most?

Would you rather be enslaved for "85-90 years" or "10,000"?

I wish people would just think things through. If no one dies then the world population would be so huge that there would be standing room only. We would be unable to feed ourselves.

Or will having children be against the law! What else are you going to sacrifice. Perhaps they can mount our brains in glass jars ..... a lot less to feed.

Come on! Try thinking it through!

I don't want to work for 9,990 years before I can retire only to have ten years of retirement.
I don't want any chips in my head structuring my thoughts. I don't like the evolving deceitful government in our country either but knowing how things work, they will be in charge. Lets see what happens in the next two years, I have a feeling everything is going to change, those with great knowledge will lose their intellect.

Don't worry - no way in hell does the little guy get the bots that make him live for 10000 years...we'll just get the ones that facilitate mind control and tracking and if we're lucky we might even get a kill switch installed!

Isn't this precisely how they sell us on the next generation of technologies that will "free us" from our wage slavery and put every convenience at our command?
You should have seen the stuff they used to put in Popular Science years ago about flying cars, floating cities, disposable clothing etc. etc. It sure made the future look great! Unfortunately it never happened.
What did happen was that the best technology was reserved for the ruling elites for security, military control and personal longevity. The rest of us got the crumbs.
Science isn't going to save us or make our lives better.
The last 50 years should stand as testimony to that.
What you are promoting is the death of individuality and privacy.
Call me a dinosaur but I'm not going to change with the times.

Free will is over rated and is holding us back as a species. Nobody needs the kind of free will that allows them to choose to murder, enslave, abuse etc their fellow man. Too much free will is just as destructive as not enough free will.

That´s just nonsense! You can´t tell someone that they are free, but still tell them they are not allowed to certain things. And alot of the cases you are talking about is caused by us living like this, being chained, being unautonomys(or how u spell it), living out everyday for somebody else(even if you are a way up the ladder) and
living a totally unnatural life, while most don´t even know. You do not go crazy or loose faith in your self, when you DO have control of your own live. And we do not control anything in our lives.

If we lived life, controlling everything you did, you would be a much more smart being, because you would not feel so goddamn paranoid.

And life is tough, but if man had to live his life on his own, he would not have that much spare time to evolve half of these thoughts of killing and raping. You spend five minutes getting your "game/food" at the supermarket, then fill up the remaining hours with some pointless activity, because getting food at the supermarket is way
faster than hunting or gathering food. And if you want to be free you can be, the forest is right out the door. The sad thing is that your free live in the jungle has a much more big threat than the hungry jaguar, you got the system and you got technology. thats just the reality right now. I have heard the verse" the dude thinking he is free is the most enslaved", but i do not see myself as free, as i have not entered the jungle, but you can do anything you want, there will just be some threat, police, authority and such and jaguars, sharks and diseased wounds too. If you want to be named Sir Lancelot on monday and Eric Nielson on friday, you can, just dont answer on any letter or mail or anything adressed to the named you were called earlier. You could even be a jellybean, if thats what you wanted, considering the possibilty that you a skizo.

And # the police idea. If a man climbs your window, snatching your people off and trying to rape em so that you need to hide your kids and hide your wife and then comes claiming your car, why would you accept it? just because he got his badge on?
