Yeah, I've found strange things in my food before... but a bb?

My mom and I opened up some chicken that we just bought today (and none of my bb guns are here, they're at my apartment, so there's no chance I shot the chicken by accident or anything), and sure enough, inside one of the chicken tenders was a bb.

Can I ask... what the HELL they're doing to the chickens before they kill em? Or perhaps the people packaging the chicken and other meats got bored, and started having a bb gun war in the back of the store? Hell if I know.

This proves that, not only are they processing mostly cloned GMO food contaminated with numerous chemicals, but in the process of distributing the food, they're also just being downright careless.

Whaddo ya think, ATS?

Are you sure it was a BB and not a ball bearing? Either way its totally messed up, but I can see why there might be a ball bearing in the chicken if a bearing shelled itself and parts somehow got into the chicken.

They don't send them through metal detectors at the processing plant.

Probably just some kid having some fun at the chicken farm. Just be glad it wasn't a pellet.

the bb probably came from the chicken farm, rats eat baby chicks and chicken feed, most chicken farms use cats and hired neighbor kids with bb guns to control rats. maybe someone was a bad shot. its not hard to accidentally hit a chicken with there being 25000 chickens per chicken house.

Is this a metal bb or a plastic bb you found? Reason I ask is because ive found a white plastic pellet in my chicken before, I think it was used as filler(?).

So, you know this stuff is cloned GMO garbage, but you bought it anyway? You were ok with your mom eating it, and your mom was ok with feeding it to her kid?

Doesn't add up...

No offense meant, but if you are familiar with ATS and post here, I am sure you are familiar with the multitude of threads about Wal-Mart, and the quality of food in our country and world in general.

With that assumption, I'm curious as to why you would choose to purchase your food from such a place to begin with and be surprised at the lack of quality you received?

Like some of the other posters said probably just some kids having fun. Are you sure it was not a shot gun BB? You should have froze it and took it back to wallmart, to complain and get free # our sue.

I have to say this....

Your on ATS, the sites phrase is deny ignorance. You bought chicken from wallmart witch is a HUGE billion company that depends on slave labor. The company is pure evil. Its like buying cotton from a 1800's slave owner only this time its a whole country and the people are Chinese. I know you probably do not want these people to be enslaved but at the same time you do, so you can shop at wallmart. The meat witch is sold in those stores is VERY VERY bad for you. Its filled witch chemicals witch are made to alter your mood and make you stupid. They feed them GMO food witch can make you sterile (no more babies). GMO food changes your RNA, RNA is like your DNA only it tells your organs and other body parts how to function. Not only that they treat the Animals like #. Plus its cloned meat.
This is how non organic meat is treated. 1000's of videos like this on youtube.

The chicken you eat was tortured, it had a BB in it.

Organic free range meat is not that expensive. It cost a little bit more but you get more nutrition, more vitamins, more protein for your money. It taste 1000 times better and it has a happy life.

I wonder if it's the same Wal-mart that just got busted for the M LAB. Maybe the officers did it when they raided Wal-Mart.

Man that is just disgusting.

Thanks for the replies people. To answer the general question most of you are asking, yes, I knew Wal-Mart is an evil corporation, and I know the food isn't quality, and has tainted meat, GMO, tortured animals, all that stuff... But my mother just moved to a remote area and we haven't found any new organic places to shop yet. We were supposed to go and find the farmers market, but we couldn't figure out exactly where it was... and we're short on money and gas right now, so we stopped in at Wal.Mart to grab supper. Getting supper from Wal-Mart isn't an "all the time" thing.

In fact, on a partially related note, I actually got upset while I was in Wal-Mart because there were about two hundred hybrid mutant watermelons, and maybe 20 normal, tasty, healthy ones. So, I had an Alex Jones moment, and made a scene. I actually started telling people who were buying the hybrid watermelons not to buy them, and the regular watermelons are better for you, and that hybrid watermelons are genetically altered and that they're one of the many foods that are getting replaced by "food clones" (cloned meat, mutant watermelons, ect).

I don't have a reason for bringing that up. I'm proud of it

I agree, that sounds like something normal to the industry. Where there are a bunch of animals there are usually rats.

Wallmart's chickens are no worse than other brands. All the big growing facilities are about the same.

You do realise that your "normal, tasty, healthy" watermelons are hybrids too, don't you?

In fact, nearly all fruits and vegetables have been modified in some way already...even organically grown species.

I don't believe that that the meat you find at Wal mart is any worse than the meat you find at most other grocery stores. I think their steaks and roasts taste better than most. They also have some high quality frozen and fresh chicken breast. Had a roto chicken from them tonight and it was awesome. About the only thing I mind buying at Wal Mart is produce.

I should say I am refering to a Wal Mart neighborhood Market and not one their big stores. Can't stand shopping at them. We have a Western Beef coming in a few weeks. Anyone have any experience with them.

All sorts of ways for a BB to get in a chicken. I wouldn't worry about it or assume anything nefarious.

Sorry for my somewhat rude response. I do also find it disturbing that there is so little quality control at the largest chain store in the US.

I hate always being paranoid about everything I buy, and always worrying about what the children in my family, and kids in general, are being exposed to every day.

I wish the FDA could be dissolved, and replaced with two separate administrations that actually work.
