2012 "Summer Event"

Now that we have officially entered summer (though the weather here in the U.K would have you think otherwise), I have noticed there has been some discussion dotted around this forum about a 2012 "summer event", or some kind of precursor to an event proper later this year.

What would this precursor event be, and why would there be one at all?

I don't know exactly what you are talking about, but with it being 2012 and all, there are lots of predicted "events"
The theories range from the "end of the world" apocalypse/rapture/whatever as allegedly predicted by the mayans to complete UFO disclosure.

I personally haven't researched 2012 enough to have a strong opinion about any theory.

There is none. 2012 is all hype and made up stuff to create a feeling of foreboding. Don't get me wrong, there is a foreboding of catastrophe, but it is of a political nature. All our choices for president have been put in place by the Main Stream Media and singularly we can't do anything about it.

I can't mind exactly where the other similiar posts are but them that posted seem pretty sure about a precursor event, possibly arranged to take the psychological edge off the biggy on December 21st 2012.

British Summer Time began Sunday, 25 March 2012, and ends Sunday, 28 October 2012.
Depends whose summer I suppose.

^ Why is that? Astronomical summer starts June 22nd. Never heard of 'summer event' and wow, how crazy can nutjobs go.. or fear mongerers, I mean talk about scheduling world ending again and again.
