Another "Zombie" attack in Southern Louisiana.

In the past couple of weeks there have been multiple (like 15?) separate cases of people eating other people. Now it seems it may have spread within 20 miles of my home. A man in Scott, LA attacked another man, spraying him with wasp poison in the eyes, and then proceeding to bite him in the face.

I almost want to laugh... remarkable at all of the craziness with 'zombies' these past few weeks.

I like how the article already is claiming the man was on 'drugs' before the release of any toxicology reports.

That is why i put Zombie in quotes, i don't want to jump to any conclusions, nonetheless i am going to prepare. When i heard about the guy in Miami i got nervous, now it is happening in my home town. This is how every good zombie movie/novel began.

Zombie or not this is crazy. This is why we should all pack heat... Infact i usually keep an extra gun in my car incase i cant pack for some reason....i would have survived this one.

Seriously though it is getting a bit odd. I wonder if it's druggies hearing these news stories and going into some sort of copy cat (shudup) delirium. I really don't remember people getting their faces eaten off with this much regularity. I mean sure people have probably always flipped out and started om nom noming but bath salts? Really? Designer zombe drug? I wonder if DEA is pushing papers to report this so they can get the stuff made illegal pronto.

How are all these reports being linked They are all separate incidences. Each one is unique.

If a zombie apocalypse happened, you wouldn't be finding one in one state...another in another state a few days later....

It would go from one, to many, to millions in no time.

This is anything but a "zombie" event. It's a guy losing his cool, and biting some guy. What happened where the guy ate that guys face, was entirely different. The first can happen to just about anyone who goes primal for an instant. The latter takes a special kind of crackheadedness...

This may be the case.

Personally, I think it's just the latest thing to scare people into.

I think the reporting is more the result of mild hysteria about the topic than anything else.

I could be wrong.

If this was similar to the attack in Florida I would say yeah, zombie attack.

I was about to post this, did a few searches, and nothing came up. Let me add a few details (as claimed with news release):

Apparently the attack took place in Scott, Louisiana. The attacker (face-muncher) was named "Carl Jacquneaux".

I was just wondering how long it had been since someone had done something crazy-like that involved ALLEGED "bath salt" use. I find it curious to hear about it so suddenly and voluminously. I'm just curious if perhaps there's an outbreak of bad meds floating around... some sort of way to induce this... or if it's just going to be a fad of truly over-the-edge people (IN SOME CASES) mixed with unrelated psychosis.

I wonder if some of them had anything in common. A device, some sort of property of the Earth affecting them, or perhaps tainted food? I could go on and on.

Is there a running thread for CAUSES specifically for these things? Who the slag uses "Bath Salts" in Nomenclature for something to be a replacement for something on the street? "Spice" I can understand.

I usually don't tell people that I star or flag them, but I am going to tell you that.

Not because your thread was so incredible or because it contained current news I am unaware of, although those played a part.

I S&F'd OP because you learned about the events and were brave in posting them in a new thread, even though there are tons of other Zombie threads recently.

Authoring new threads about Zombies has recently tended to drag out the members who want to ridicule or be snooty to anyone who posts a thread they find redundant and useless.

I believe your information does warrant it's own thread.

Your OP is another account of Zombie like events that have become the focus of many media outlets and discussion forums.

I do wonder if there is really something to this rash of events?

Is it really somehow spreading?

Could it be a result from new substances entering our bodies and reacting with elements of our physical chemistry, creating traits that are present in many of the ombie accounts?

Maybe it is a genetically engineered, contagious virus or biological weapon, being tested on the population?

If it is some sort of warfare tool, then maybe it is not a test at all.

Instead of a test in an experiment, could it be a real act of war on the United States population and the citizens of other countries where this has been seen recently?

I suppose all speculation is fair game at this point and building an opinion based on other conspiracy theories should not be frowned upon or dismissed out of hand, since there is no conclusive evidence pointing toward a specific cause or illness,

Many people speculate on contrails as chemtrails and the idea that they are bombarding the air we breathe with chemicals that are thought to serve a number of different purposes.

Chemtrails, if they exist, could be used to saturate our skies and air we breathe with a virus or potentiator that could lay dormant in our immune systems for years - waiting for the chemtrails to inhibit the maximum number of victims as possible. That process could take years, if the goal is to expose the large majority of the country or world's population to the substance.

Once the target goal has been reached Phase II can begin.

Phase II could be delivered in a number of ways; through our food chain, through our water, through vaccines,and through the air we breath.

Phase II could exist as the 2 variable to the plan. Maybe it is some sort of heavy metal, not common in our chemistry, that reacts with whatever we were inhibited with. Maybe it is a virus itself and Phase I was a process that broke down our immune system's ability to successfully reject the virus that is used in the Phase II plan.

With our immune system's defence completely broken, the over all spread of the virus could be much easier.

All that would be required to spread the virus over the entire world in days would be tactical exposure.

Exposing the population in several different locations around the world would be sufficient enough to allow total exposure to Earth's population in days or weeks,

Ok, I am back out of fantasy land now... maybe the events are, just as others have suggested in the past, a mild form of hysteria. This hysteria could be caused by multiple shocking reports in the news.

These events have probably always occurred with the same frequency that we are seeing now, but we were unaware.

Or maybe... we should start prepping with machetes, spears, harpoons, guns, bunkers, food etc etc etc for the impending Zombie invasion

I say cannibalism because it was reported on local news that the chunk of flesh was never found, which leads me to believe ol boy swallowed it...

I hate to sound like a broken record, but these are cases of "The Crazies" -that's the only way to link all of these events, and you won't have to worry about the Zombie experts calling you out and flaming you because these people weren't raised from the dead.

I think if "The Crazies" had it's own forum, it would be a convenient place to post all of these wacky, random and insane events. It can include cannibalism, throwing your intestines at people, kitten killers, etc. If it does become a forum...it should start with cases from about a month ago...that way it doesn't become to filled with past cases. We would be able to determine if these events were multiplying exponentially as time went by.

Any thoughts?

Zombies is a good topic because it is mostly all in fun and people don't take themselves so seriously.

This I agree with. People DO have the "crazies" lately. Last few yrs it has grown in my opinion and in mmy area. The most scary things are not always the most sensational. Sometimes truly frightening examples of the Crazies are not very well reported or arent reported at all. Ask any nurse, EMT, or cop...

Speaking of kitten killers... we has a kitten killer. He was " mentally challenged" and shot several kittens to death with a BB gun and lined them up in the park. We had one guy who killed a bunch of dogs in an abandoned house and mutilated them. Only discovered because one he had strangled was posed with its head hanging out of the 2nd floor window. Seriously... I can go on and on about the Crazies... Makes me happy to be reclusive!

Son's of Guns (reality show) did an episode where they had a build off of a zombie gun. It was pretty cool.

That .22 P90 looking one is pretty sick, and definitely the one I would want if zombies came a knockin around my way. Larger rounds are great and all, but who wants to lug it around when TSHTF? I mean, long as you hit em in their brain, they go down, right?
