There is nothing in quantum theory that states that any quantum effects occur on a macroscopic scale. To state otherwise would be intellectually dishonest.

If you want to live with those blinders that your avatar has it is your choice, however much of our macroscopic technology is based on quantum theory. We would not be communicating now without it.

I am certain this concept holds true on every level and in particular when it comes to our common perceptions of government. From the instant the philosophers of The Enlightenment came to understand our thoughts and intentions have effects on the material world, the "royal" parasites have conspired to keep us ignorant.

I believe the immediate negative posts that always accompany good news, is proof of the ongoing conspiracy.

Schrödinger, Heisenberg, Pauli, and Planck must all be spinning in their graves -- I doubt that any of them intended for their theories to be so grossly misinterpreted and misapplied. There is nothing in quantum theory that states that any quantum effects occur on a macroscopic scale. To state otherwise would be intellectually dishonest.

Conventionality always complains when it is threatened. However, in this regard a connection is being made between what is actually experienced in deep meditation, the "As One" experience, to quantum understanding at this stage. Now, there will be the atheists, pure mechanicalists and other non-believers in spiritual things crying out in pain and rage.

But I can tell you from my personal experience that the truth is coming clear, and IT IS NOT ABOUT SOME GREAT GOD OUT THERE. It is merely the Universe coming clear

So, what you're saying is...

We knew the world was flat a thousand years ago, we knew it was the center of the universe five hundred years ago, and now we know that everything ON the earth is separate and in no way connected except through external interactions.

Or in other words, we don't know anything.

...yep, I'll agree with you there.

Also, everything you described is called Noetics. Google it.

Love the concept. I believe there's much, much more to it than what your senses allow you to perceive. Maybe on a quantum level, your thoughts really do affect your reality. But you just don't notice it.

At this moment I'm going through a fever of 39.5 degrees. Besides giving the warmth feeling in my body, the flu has absolutely no control over me as in my mind I see the flu for what it really IS, a temporary bodily event, without attaching any negative thoughts to it. I'm able to function normally and people can't really tell I'm sick without touching my skin. I'm by no means trying to brag, just trying to show an example of what you can do by just changing your mindset.

Just a thought

our thoughts are extremely powerful....

More powerful than you can possibly imagine.

With great power comes greater responsibility, and a very important philosophy I follow is - Do Not Feed The Darkside.

This pertains to the field of noetic sciences. Astronaut Edgar Mitchell founded the Institute for Noetic Sciences in 1979 (I think that's the year). After an epiphany during a spacewalk, Mitchell believed in the concept of everything being attached to everything.

Here's the thing about the institute: Edgar Mitchell touts that the facility in California is for human advancements, but the research going on there is funded by DARPA, Raytheon, The John D. Rockefeller Foundation and other anonymous donors. The things they are researching are secret and massive amounts of money is being dumped into this place. They are researching ESP, dreams and how to manipulate them, how to manipulate thought patterns, and trying to harness and capture the human soul...yes, I know that sounds crazy. This lab is way beyond top secret and I can only imagine what else is being researched.

Names and other info about this research is not going to be made available.

People have believed this for thousands of years. He may have gave it a name but he certainly did,nt concieve it.

The. Perhaps we should stop thinking the illuminati are going to win the battle for an NWO. Or stop predicting disaster.. And start thinking happy thoughts.. Or .... Well you get it. I will say that things definately arent what they seem. The world is a strange place, and we can make it what we want it to be, unfortunately, the tactics of controlling this "field" may be lost to most of us. Its a shame. To think we manifest this reality and that we arent victims of it. Time to go help someone .

but again, not at all surprising.

I purchased the book a while back and consumed it over a few hours time.

I agree with an above poster. It's a nice feel-good thing, but doesn't seem to be grounded in reality.

I believe that the body may work more effectively if we are in the right state of mind, but no more. I see reason, which may be explainable now by current science, which shows that regulating our parasympathetic nervous system and sympathetic nervous system will be of benefit to regenerative processes.

There really doesn't seem to be anything magical going on. What I did read that tried to posit this mystical garbage, seemed to have holes in the reasoning.

People are starting with an assumption, and choosing to interpret the science in ways which support this assumption. It's called bias, and the book is loaded with it.

have just started reading a book called 'the Field' - you can get it from amazon.com.

It was written by a journalist who has synthesised and brought together ideas from top cutting edge scientists and physicists who are studying quantum mechanics and its larger scale implications.

they are more or less saying that there exists a 'field' of energy that binds all in the universe together at a subatomic quantum level - a quantum field or 'force' if you will

which means that everything we do affects everything else, we are all connected, and our actions can powerfully affect the universe etc.

more or less explains many things religions have been teaching for a while now, the power of prayer, and eastern medicines /concepts like acupuncture and qi energy....

so they say the newtonian, darwinian ideas are now being replaced and are outdated, and that we should no longer see ourselves as individuals struggling for survival (of hte fittest) and alone in our struggle etc...

but instead we are all part of this vast web of energy, all connected to everything else in the universe on a quantum level

and our very intentions and thoughts actually change and shape matter...

this means our thoughts are extremely powerful....

matter at its most basic level doesn't actually have a particular form - it's in a quantum state - and our INTENTION actually affects what form the matter takes.

this is MAJOR - it means the way we do everything, organise our society, all our sciences, are going to need a massive re-think...

it also tends to reconcile many religious ideas with science and provide basis for them....

i highly recommend the book, it's really interesting - may change your whole world view - show it to any scientists you know as well...

(fyi: this is a copy from a thread i have posted on another forum)

the author of the book: a journalist lynne mctaggart compiled it by interviewing lots of top international scientists about their recent discoveries. there's a sequel called the 'intention experiment'.
