Sources close to Mitt Romney say that he has narrowed down his list of Vice Presidential choices earlier this weekend. It is tradition that the GOP nominee announces the Vice President at the National Convention in August. Analysts however say that would be too late for Mitt Romney to get undecided voters excited about his Presidential bid. Will Mitt Romney announce his VP pick earlier? And we better hope its someone as promising and exciting as Marco Rubio. Otherwise Obama will win!

Currently at the top of speculation list are:
Bob Portman
Marco Rubio
Chris Christie

I want to know who Ron Paul will pick and I want to start seeing some polls for a 3-way race.

It doesn't matter who he picks.

He will not win.

He's the GOP sacrificial lamb for this election cycle.

After his pathetic showing in Texas he might want to pick a fellow Texan to help him in his home state.

YES! He should pick Rick Perry. They seemed to "help" each other out on the campaign trail!

I don't think it's any coincidence that news comes on the heels of Jeb Bush's endorsement of Rubio. If it doesn't end up being Rubio I will be very surprised. However I do think the rumored Romney/Rand Paul ticket could be interesting.

Washington Post Suggests Bilderberg Group To Pick Romney’s Running Mate
www.abovetopsecret.com...

“Curiously, not many senators seem to be going. In fact, it may be that the only one going from the Senate Foreign Relations Committee is Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), a possible vice presidential pick, who we’re told is flying commercial to attend,” writes Kamen, adding that Rubio’s presence could “help boost his foreign-policy chops” just as a visit with the clandestine Bilderberg Group was key in John Edwards being picked as John Kerry’s number two in 2004. “Reminds us of a foreign jaunt made by another potential vice presidential pick back in 2004.

Rubio Rubio Rubio... fail

Ron Paul

Did Ron Paul pick a VP in 2008, when he was "still in the race?"

I hope he picks Rubio. I think he'd energize the party and propel Romney to a win. I've never been a huge fan of Christie.

And I hope when the time comes (which it did months ago), Paul will endorse Romney.

I think Portman's too boring; Christie will not bring enough power to win NJ. It's too democrat. Trust me. I live here!

I don't think Ron Paul will ever endorse Romney.

I think you will see him as a third candidate after the Republican convention.

After the Bill Clinton endorsement the other day I wouldn't be surprised if he picks Hillary. It would shatter both political party's choke-holds on everything. He'd win for certain. but destroy the good cop - bad cop facade that's been going on since the Kennedy murder.

I suspect they are leaning towards Rubio right now because no one else is willing to get on a ticket they probably suspect is, as noted above, a sacrificial lamb. That would be like Kerry's running mate in 04. Who was that again? Who wants to be another forgotten name from a lost election?

But, there's a good bit of time between now and the convention, and a wild card could easily still pop up. Maybe a palin sort of figure.

Neither of those candidates will add much to Romney's campaign, and I don't think Rubio will excite the latino crowd contrary to popular belief. I don't think Romney will go for either of them anyway, his campaign will be seeking for somebody alittle more supplimental to gain outside votes. I'm thinking Rand Paul or something like him to woo skeptical rightwing voters like Libertarians.

Oh man. I actually can't remember the name of that fops running mate. Oh weird it hit when I typed I couldn't remember. Edwards. LOL. Romney is probably not going to win, sadly. Obama will. Paul fans will use their tears as lubricant in an annoying whiny troll machine. THE VOTE WAS STOLEN! LIES! MSM!

I thought you could not pick unless it was official that the person was the last and final candidate of the party.
