I offer no proof but your memory.

I'm sure this guy died already, and we have exposed a glitch in the "matrix" for lack of a better term. Maybe a slight change in the program (?)

To make things more puzzling, his second "death" shares the same date as...guess who?

Perhaps you have just provided definative proof that we have entered a new timeline. Nice find, who else can say that they discovered a new timeline. I incidently have very, very good vibes about this new one.- PEACE.

He will be missed. By far the best host of the Family Feud.

Watching him give those gross kisses won't be missed.

Any thoughts? Yeah: I've noticed that dead celebrities die again every so often. How many times did Abe Fish die? And I wouldn't be surprised to find out next week that he had died yet again....

simple confusion. my sister and I always check in when a celeb from the 70's/80's dies, and I have no recollection of dawson dieing twice

If I were Steve Harvey (he is alive, right?) I would demand a padded safe room surrounded by armed guards every June 2nd....

This is assinine. If there were a good reason for you to remember him dying before, you could dig up one of the items that gave you that impression the first time. You are just confused and apparently quite alone.

All of what you say is probably true BUT this hologram we live in could surely cover its tracks, couldn't it?

Apparently my wife is nuts too because I just told her Richard Dawson died, and her response was

"Didn't he die like 10 years ago? Then that Ray Combs guy replaced him."

The problem is I'm not sure it went like that on my timeline....

I'm not sure if it is a glitch in the matrix or in my memory, but I too thought he was dead. This has happened to me more than once with other celebrities.

Then you would have a lot of suddenly missing obituaries, a vanishing grave site, medical reports, etc. His family doctor is probably more surprised than anyone to find out that he had paperwork saying Dawson was dead and even that is missing now too, right?

See, most of you seem to think the entire world exists inside your head. In order for Dawson to have been dead before, far more would need to be disrupted than just your faulty memory.

Ray Combs did not replace him because he had died, he replaced him because Dawson stopped hosting that show. Why do I remember this just fine?

Combs is dead. He killed himself like 16 years ago. Remember that so you do not have to live through it all again.

This is so awsome - it has happend to me a well couple of times. He (the guy i thought was dead) was a local radio host and DJ, though it was some time ago i still remember searching for answers what could have caused this. Does anyone have any info on this matter?

Thanks for sharing

I thought I had died once before. Turns out I just hadn't called myself in quite some time. Imagine my surprise when I went to shave one morning and there I was staring back at myself.

It's a sick world and I'm a happy guy.

Ray Combs - The first host AFTER dawson killed himself.

This kinda confirms for me that this is nothing but simple confusion and confused people agreeing that their mass confusion must mean something.

Wow lot of people in this thread just straight out calling the OP a nutjob, well color me polkadots and get my white jacket because I, too, remember Richard Dawson going to that great gameshow in the sky like 10 or more years ago...

Signals, you are not crazy

....maybe all the crazy people are on the outside and the sane ones are left tending the asylum....

I have many rolls of tinfoil ready....should the need arise

Are you sure you aren't thinking of Colonel Klink from the old Hogan's Heroes (Werner Klemperer)? He passed in 2009. Ooops, 2000.

quick, claim reprint of a 2000 article for no reason in 2009. We missed one... edit, 80, not 88... LOL

When he died in Feb 2009 he was 88, when he died in 2000 he was 80.
