Im pretty sure we aren't living in a Zombie Apocalypse...

Ever since that story headlined about the Florida man who was shot and killed six times by police, while CHEWING on another mans head, not actually eating him...I'm pretty sure this guy was either on meth, or PCP, maybe both, but who knows. The MSM is saying is was some new form of '___', but that means....it's not '___', because '___', like every other molecule, has it's own, unique makeup, and changing just one tiny thing could give you a whole new molecule, with unknown effects...

My vote is that this man was on drugs. It's as simple as that. We live in a messed up world, and people will always do, and ingest whatever they want, theres no stopping it. With this in mind, you can expect to see more crazy crap like this happen in your life time, with no end, unless a true zombie apocalypse occurs you know, one where the zombies are actually decomposing corpses, not live human beings under the influence of brain melting drugs

I dont see it until HADES is released to ride OUT IN OPEN AGAIN.... So I agree OP I dont see it as of yet.

The media is claiming that it was "bath salts".
Don't know much about them, other than they sell them at convenient stores where I live.

Isn't it possible that he was a real zombie but the media doesn't want to tell us?

I been shaking my head with the mass influx of zombie threads. Almost obsessive ,maybe it is just me but the intelligence of people in general has really taken a nose dive as of late. 2nd why are these people so obsessed with the zombie apocalypse and going on a killing rampage blowing off the heads of zombies. I don't know whats worse people intelligence nose diving or people who want to fantasize about run around with guns and shooting dead people.

places an array of spinning blades around secured location and observes!!! I think some think it would mimic a movie or video game. A member mentioned here a concept of how HIGH technology could be used to embed a nano type virus within the illed that would eat dead flesh and would stop if observed by a living being. The dead flesh would then be converted into ENERGY and then wi fi styled beamed up into a receiving energy port to feed from????? 1 hopes its not due to happen but does know there are elements present today like meds-radioactive materials/germs/viruses ect. that can make it a reality.

Agreed. Right now for some unfathomable reason you might be hoping for a zombie apocalypse, but if it really happens you'll ish your pants in terror.

We cannot draw our conclusions because of just one incident that slightly looks like a zombie attack.

I think it is a primal thing, we can't go around shooting people but if they are already dead you can not be done for murder etc and it would be like guilt free killing.
Thing is everyone thinks they would be the guy /gal doing the shooting but most of us would be the zombie

To add what if there is a CURE that WONT be released until population is trimmed. ALL those killed may have had a chance to survive 1 keeps in mind they are/were still people just sickned or frequency adjusted somehow and would try to not inflict massive malice to survive.

My sense of empathy tells me that people just want to be heroes. I mean who DOESN'T?

We have all seen the zombie flicks from the original Night of the Living dead up to today with The Walking Dead on AMC. Who doesn't want to be part of that group of people who are on..more exciting adventures than you and I?

It doesn't mean they are stupid by any means. In reality, most of us know it can never happen. However, there is always that "What if" moment.

I would say it was a more border line mental illness . Nowhere in the animal kingdom do any animal kill for pleasure . Self defense is different. It is as if some of these people actually get off on the idea of it. Nothing primal about it. Defending family is primal.
