I came accross this picture that I found curious.

I thought it would be interesting to share amongst the members of ATS, as a whole, as a platform of civil discussion regarding the Democratic & Republican political parties.
I am registered under the "Independent" party, thus find myself typically having to choose whether to vote Democrat or Republican, as the Independent political party is not always represented by a candidate in most circumstances.
Having said that, I consider myself as voting for the candidate and the qualities I feel they possess for the office they are campaigning to hold and represent.

What does this picture say to you or represent? If anything?
Do you feel compelled to comment one way or another?
Please share your thoughts on what this picture means to you and how you interpret it.

It is a photograph of the voting area where ballots are cast, with two orange traffic cones denoting where Democrats are to register and where Republicans are to register.
The Democrat sign on the left, also includes directions in Spanish.
Wherein the Republican sign on the right, is only shown in English.

Lastly, does this seem conspiratorial to you?
Why or why not?

It seems discriminatory, but republicans are known "supposedly" for being against illegal immigration which happens to include spanish speaking peoples i.e. mexicans.

Left wing, right wing...same bird.

I think republicans are right in a way. If you take a look at how mexicans treat us, all we are to them is a meal ticket, they come here to work for several years, send80% of their U.S. money home to boost the economy in mexico and it drags the U.S. down. They do not even have to pay taxes here. Ontop of that they do not even bother to learn the language.

My brother's wife is from Peru and she hates mexicans because they do not even bother to learn the language, to her she sees them as performing a "wham bam thank you ma'am". She actually wanted to be a citizen, not come here to send all her money back home so she could retire after 10 years to live high on the hog and use tax payers money to pay the hospital bills and medical attention they have no intentions of ever trying to repay.

Here in Morrilton there's been an increase in mexicans and they too cannot speak a lick of english. Some mexican gangs in Texas swear that mexico will conquer the U.S. and breed us out and from what i see, i don't doubt it. Look at what is going on in Arizona, mexican drug cartels come over and the U.S. government sells them automatic weapons to us on our own citizens. American citizens are being killed by mexican nationals in Phoenix and Tuscon and our government is more concerned with the middle east when we are being invaded across our own borders.
